Dvd crusher - I think it's called that

Right in a nutshell, I've downloaded the FA Cup final and wanted to write it to DVD. By the time I have made the menus etc and try to write it, it will not fit on a 4.7GB DVD and it tells me that I would need over 2 of these to be able to write the thing. Of course it is no use to me having it on 3 discs. Does anyone know a program that will crush the clip so it will fit onto a 4.7GB DVD?

Thanks in advance

On DVD Shrink, what do you do when the file is on your hardrive and in a folder, you go to 'open files' find the folder and you get an error message when you open it saying that it cannot be specified  ???

transcode it to ts then use dvd shrink. Im not sure how sonic works cosI use nero but there should be "make dvd option" then add the wmv files and transcode to hard disk. then use dvd shrink

Sorry, I got distracted and wrote jibberish  :D

I meant:

do you know any free programs that convert it because I can only find trials that put a watermark in the middle of the screen.
