If UEFA DO try to force us to play therte, it could be the biggest disaster in our history bar none.

My guess - no matter what, we will not play over there, even if it means losing our CL campaign this season.

i agree that you shouldn't play in israel. but there's no way liverpool out from CL just bcoz of that. UEFA will understand and remove the match in neutral place i guess....
however i want milan win CL when every major rivals is playing so that we can claim ourself as the best in europe..

hi all!
I am from Israel. I live near Tel Aviv.
The real war is taking place at North Israel.
although the home stadium of maccabi haifa is at Haifa, the game will be held at Tel Aviv, which is absolutly safe.
back to business, Maccabi Haifa is our champion. Although I support Maccabi Tel Aviv, Maccabi Haifa has a strong squad, and they are excellent team in our standarts. However, some key players left the club, players like Michael Zandberg, Arik Benado etc...
their weakest part is the defense. the goalkeeper, Nir Davidovich, is an excellent goalkeeper, but he can't stand the big moments, he always screws up. the midfield is very good. they havr Gustavo Boccoli, Brazilian, who played for Brescia. Dirceu, defensive midfielder.they have some good strikers like Yaniv Katan, who Played last season for Westham. Roberto Colautti, an excellent Striker, who came from Boca Juniors.
finally, Comparing to their Great team including Yakubu, this season, the team isn't strong enough to past Liverpool, even if Liverpool plays with their Second team.
Don't afraid to come to Israel, Welcome!! :)

We all have a better chance of winning the lottery than us going to Israel. Club won't go even if UEFA allow it.

puroresu wrote:Its quotes like "striking back against terror" which make me laugh.  You are an occupying force which has been occupying Arab Muslim land since 1948.  Yet you have the auadicity to say you are not the oppressors and are fighting terror.  Hezbollah and Hamas resist against your state terrorism!!!

I hate to talk politics in a football forum, but the things that you say are so stupid and ignorent i had to reply.

lets check the facts :

1. Jerusalem was founded by king david about 3,000 years ago. Do you know how many years later Mohamad founded the Islam? some 1800 years later...
So who was first?

2. in 1947 the U.N decided to split the land to 2 countries, Israel and Arab state. We agreed. Do you know who attacked Israel in the 1948 war?

3. Between 1948 to 1967 the west bank, Gaze strip and Golan were arab lands. Eastern Jerusalem and all of west bank was occupied by Jordan, an arab country.
Why didn't Jordan found a country to the Palestinian people then? I mean, they had the land ......

4. Jerusalem is the hollyest place for all jews. When we pray, we face Jerusalem.
Can you tell us which part of the body an arab is turning to Jerusalem when he prays? (hint : it is NOT the face. The face is to Mecca in Saudi Arabia)

5. There are 22 arab countries. There is only 1 tiny Jewish state. And still, muslim terror wants us out of here .... interesting, isn't it ?

6. There are about 15 million jews in the world, and about 1 billion muslims. Can you tell us how many Nobel prizes those 1 billion people ever got ? (hint : only 6).
How can it be that the 18 million people got more than 230 of those ?

7. What is the greates contribution of Islam to the world? Why most of the people in the world asked this question will think first about Terror ?

8. Last years Israel pulled out to the international border from the Gaza strip. So why Palestinian still fire missiles from Gaza to Israel? Is terror the only thing you know how to do well?

9. When was the last time a Jew hijacked an airplane and crashed it into a building killing thousands of people?

10 . Who is the last jew that blew himself in a tube station? and why ALL terror in the world comes from only one religion?

Can you please answer those 10 questions .... I have many more for later if u want ...
And still,

Guys, the terror can hit every place, including England(don't forget the Terror Action at London).
besides, Tel Aviv is 150 Km from haifa(which is the far point that hizbollah have reached) and 250-300 from the border with Lebanon.

It is a easy bite for Liverpool...

And im so happy that we WONT encounter on qualifying rounds  :eyebrow

We'll play with Dinamo Kiev-which is much more comfortable than LFC,arsenal, valencia, milan and ajax- and im sure we reach to the groups.

Then, see you at the groups!  :buttrock

Yes terror can hit anywhere, Liverpool however doesn't have missels dropped on them every day. That is the difference, Israel is not safe at this moment
