You reckon I can get tickets for the home game? I am not a season ticket holder. I do have a fancard though

you'll have to fill in an application when they announce ticket details - keep checking the ticket section on the official site. :)

Greetings from Israel :)

First, you shouldn't be afraid to come here....the game will be in Ramat-Gan stadium (if you want i will bring you more details about it), near Tel-Aviv....no rockets there :D

Second, Israel is a beautiful country...sea, views, girls....you really should come here....

We are optimistics, but we know that the chances are very low to qualify to the group stage....

Hello all LIVERPOOL fans!!
As an Israeli Liverpool fan since I can remember my self, and as a one who saw in his own eyes and share with you the greatest game at all time in 2005 in Istanbul - I would like to welcome you all and Invite you to our lovley country.
Sure, we are in a midle of attack and striking back against teror in the northern border of Israel, but do not be fear... the rest of the country is living its normal life - and you will be safe from the first second you will land in the hollyland.
You will be suprised to know how many Israeli fans Liverpool got in Israel and we will be gald to host you here in the nicest and safest way we can.
If there is an Irish fans among of you, you can asked them about their trip to here last year,as their national team played here as well as the fans of other teams (bayren, juve, ajax, newcastle).
We are waiting for you and together we'll make sure that Liverpool will never walk alone!!!!

What do you have? 10,000 ?

you should remember the 30000 fans that come to ramat gan agains rosenborg not liverpool not united, rosenborg. and full bloomfield against malmo in our "home" match.

im a haifa fan and i will be happy if liverpool will come to israel. i understand why you afraid to come to israel, its becouse you dont know what is going on here but you need to know that tel aviv is very safe.

Its quotes like "striking back against terror" which make me laugh.  You are an occupying force which has been occupying Arab Muslim land since 1948.  Yet you have the auadicity to say you are not the oppressors and are fighting terror.  Hezbollah and Hamas resist against your state terrorism!!!

I'm pretty certain that UEFA will be taking a very hard look at the situation and deciding with safety of all a primary concern.  A neutral ground--not Cyprus though, as it's full of Lebanese refugees--may be selected.  But, it sounds like Tel Aviv is safe--at the moment anyway.  One thing will be certain, Israeli security will be very tight.

If there are any concerns, though, I see a simple solution: stuff them large style at Anfield so the return leg is academic.  Then we just send the likes of Diao, Traore etc over to play out the game! :D
