Hizb-allah has part to be blamed, but Israel had planned this before! They just wanted an excuse to attack us. They waited for the right moment, and then when Hizb-Allah kidnapped the two israeli soldiers "Wham" the war started.

I mean come on this is not about the two kidnapping prisoners, this is about destroying Lebanon and putting pressure on the Lebanese government and the U.N to use the 1559 decision (which states that Hizb-allah's arms and weopons should be removed).

Well looks like it that they aren't doing that, they are destroying my country with their jet planes and killing innocent lives!

Most international community don't know sh*t about whats happening in Lebanon. I was watching the G8 summit, and all i can see is those so called "big leaders" laughing and eating and having a great time, while we are being killed and murdered here.

They can't do anything, so its up to us to save ourselves.

The international community? you mean America and its puppet Britain?

Russia and France are right on this in putting blame on Israel for their criminal behaviour.

Funny how the "terrorists" take two soldiers but "Israel" kills civilians. Wake up to who the real terrorists are.

Well said Metalhead.

Glad to read that so far you're in one piece . Hope you come through this unscathed and that somehow someway  Isreal AND Hzb-Allah can be brought to their senses , I'm afraid however that Isreal are detemined to "punish" Hzb-Allah as much as possible ,whilst Hzb-Allah are eager for the fight . It will probably get alot worse before it gets better and in the meantime the innocents continue to sufer.

Keep yer head down mate , and good luck .

Apologies for sounding anti - english

I guess it is just that it seems that in any situation Britain never disagrees with US policy. If the US decided the "international community" should invade Canada, Britain would go along with it.

Also, the words "international community" always annoy me as it always refers to a few countries, there are probably more countries against Israel on this than with them.

So once again - apologies.

Incorrect, i know it was a long time ago but we damn right refused to go to Vietnam because we knew it was a losing battle.

If I had a fécking AK-47 I'd shoot to the air  :D chuffed to see you're ok Metalhead.

My government's position was mild on the early stages of the hostilities, but it's  harsh right now.

Of course Israel complains about our not understanding of their right to blah blah blah blah and that Spain being a country that has good relationships both with the Arab and Israeli should be neutral blah blah blah blah. Diplomatic cráp.

At the end of the day they do what they want, because any diplomatic action that is taken from any of the countries, together or separatedly, is aborted by the U.S. It doesn't really matter U.K's position, the things are like they are in the U.N, a few countries have in 2006 some banning privileges won after the WW2. So that makes Annan a puppet, and diplomatic actions irrelevant.

:veryangry

Metalhead, I'm with you. Anyway, Hizb-Allah didn't make any good to your country. 2 soldiers kidpapped or dead won't make you nor the Arab countries closer to your goals...

Best wishes from Spain.

Hizbollah Rejects Ceasefire Deal Tuesday July 18, AP news

Lebanese militant group Hizbollah has rejected international ceasefire proposals as rockets have continued to rain down in Beirut and in Israel. By nightfall, 209 people in Lebanon and at least 24 Israelis were reported killed in six days of fighting.

Tony Blair has called for an international force to be sent into Lebanon to help calm the situation.

In Beirut, British citizens have begun to be evacuated. There are still about 10,000 British passport-holders in Lebanon - and the Government says the next couple of days could see the biggest evacuation of Britons since Dunkirk.

The six-day-old offensive against Hizbollah began in response to the seizure of two Israeli soldiers by guerillas.

The latest victims were nine civilians, including two children, who died in an airstrike on a bridge near the southern Lebanon city of Sidon.

A new barrage of rockets fired by guerrillas in southern Lebanon hit northern Israel late in the day, causing at least five injuries, Israeli officials said.

One missile landed in the northern town of Safed, injuring five people, one moderately and four lightly.

Other rockets hit the northern city of Haifa, where a three-storey apartment building had been destroyed earlier in the day. The border town of Kiryat Shemona was also hit.

More than 100,000 people have crossed into Syria from Lebanon over the past five days to escape Israeli attacks, Syrian authorities said.

Hizbollah spokesman Hussein Haj Hassan rejected ceasefire proposals put by international diplomats, saying they were "israeli conditions".

Israeli prime minister Ehud Olmert said in an impassioned speech to his parliament that the missile attacks would only stop when the two kidnapped soldiers were handed back, Hizbollah stopped firing rockets and the Lebanese army deployed along the border.

He said: "We shall seek out every installation, hit every terrorist helping to attack Israeli citizens, destroy all the terrorist infrastructure, in every place.

"Israel will not agree to live in the shadow of the threat of missiles or rockets against its residents."

Every year there is a book out claiming that he just predicted something but nobody looked at it in 2001 and said F**k in a few weeks the twin towers will be attacked - lets do something about it.

Nialladamas predicts in 2007 "the people from a far will rage vengece on their neighbours who recently humiliated them and are led by the man with the angry eyes."

In 2008 I'll tell what I predicted!!

LOL too bloody right, i remember a Nostradamas special back in 80s that stated world would end in the 90s via Middle East.
Since then it get revised along with phoney quotes about Sep 11.
Oh well i guess one day he be right

Hey again guys, thanks for the support.

There has been a very quite day in Beirut, according to some of my friends who are still there, but they are really cautious. Israel again kills innocent people in the "Bekaa" valley and the city of "Baalbak". The reason is that in those two location located the training camps of Hizb-allah, they are destroying the camp and destroying the city too!!! the south towns are running out food and medicine, and all the trucks that are carrying food and medicine supplies are being destroyed by the israel jet fighters because they supposdely carry also "Weapons of Hizb-allah". Still the zionists don't want to negotiate. We have to wait and see what happens in the next few days, hopefully we can conclude a cease fire. I really don't care if they don't stop the blockade, but israel need to stop killing us. They have destroyed my beautiful country who was becoming one of the most touristic countries to visit, we expected about 500,000 chinese this year but now the project is dead! we are losing 100,000,000 dollars every day.

i almost cried the other day when i saw dead bodies on TV and for what cause? they tried to run away, and they were killed when a jet fighter bombed the :censored: out of the people's car when they were driving.

Israel and Hizb-allah need to stop the fight, this is too much.

Cheers
