He is boss on Pro Evolution Soccer 5, so i'll have him.

:D :D :D :D

Just kidding, I haven't seen much of him, but I would like to know how he is behind Cisse in the pecking order for France.  Although I remember somebody saying that Cisse has a really good goal getting record for France.

Why will we say good-bye to Crouch? We're in a need of another striker so it would make no sense to get one and get rid of another.

Secondly, Crouch and Trezeguet are two types of strikers and Crouch will play another key part to our season.

In the Times:

Benítez flew to Spain yesterday in an attempt to wrap up a deal for Daniel Alves, the Seville right back, buoyed by an encouraging debut from Bellamy the day before.

......Any move for Trezeguet is likely to be greeted with resistance by Juventus, who are already resigned to losing, among others, Fabio Cannavaro and, probably, Gianluca Zambrotta to Real Madrid. Didier Deschamps, the club’s new coach, is keen to retain as many other star names as possible until appeals have been heard against their demotion to Serie B, the 30-point penalty deduction and the loss of two league titles. With Benítez expected to spend most, if not all, of his remaining £10 million transfer kitty on the Alves transfer, if a deal can be struck for the Brazilian, the Spaniard would have to sell before he could buy again. However, with Jerzy Dudek, Djimi Traoré and Anthony Le Tallec proving difficult to offload, a loan move for Trezeguet would probably be welcomed by Liverpool as much as it would be by Juventus.

Have to say, like many others before me I have always seen Trezeguet as a player who's reputation far exceeds his abitity. Having said that I guess you don't get to spend that many years at Juve if you haven't got something about you. I think a loan deal would be a fairly safe bet for all concerned as I really wouldn't like to see us get our fingers burned by another so called "big name" striker in the mould of Cisse and Moro.

Agreed.

I'd prefer Crouch over Trezeguet, as would the majority of Liverpool fans.

I think this shouldn't be an opportunity lost at "trying before we buy". Ouside of this unique situation Trezeguet would never of been available on loan, he'd be another over-priced player playing in Italy. If the price is right for Liverpool we should do our utmost to get him on loan.

Crespo is a fantastic player. Great finishing, fantastic technique, fantastic movement. There's two problems.

1. He's under contrat at Chelsea, and there is a bigger chance of hell freezing over now then it is of Chelsea selling a player of Crespo's callibre to a rival
2. He doesn't like the life in England

Your right about Chelsea but staying in England might be his best option. Would he really go to Milan now that they will be out of next years Champions league and 12 points down to start with. Im sure he wouldnt go back to Inter. I suppose Spain is always an option.

I've read that Juventus will 'fight to keep Trezeguet'....but in reality, i cannot see him staying with a team that will struggle to steer clear of relegation again.  A loan move would be best for everyone....

Juventus will still own the player (should they get a miracle and go back up) and We will have a replacement for Cisse.  If Trezeguet makes it in the Premier league, we'll buy him with the Cisse money....if he's anther Nando, we'll give him back and get someone else!

Everyone wins!  (except Juventus  :D )

If it was a straight choice between Trezeguet and Bellamy i would go for Bellamy. He's hungrier and proven in the Premeirship.

Cisse wasn't good enough for Liverpool, he's gone out of the door.

Crouch was one of the many reason's why we finished as high as we did. You fail to see that however considering that you rate Cisse highly.......... it makes sense let's just put it that way
