i finally try to start a serious conversation about god... and robbie fowler is brought into it hehe

there is a god tho, people can choose to believe or not but it all comes down to faith in the end :cool:

The IDF are a highly trained, technologically advanced and well equipped military fighting force. In theory they could take on every Arab nation around them and still prevail. They cannot be defeated in a military campaign by their neighbours.

The only way out of this is for the kidnapped soldiers to be returned unharmed and for all attacks upon Israel from South Lebanon and the Gaza to cease. Then Israel must pull back. If peace is to be reached in the Near East region, it's dependant on all Arab nations around Israel to control the terrorist organisations that exist within their borders and to recognise that Israel has a right to exist.

The ideology that Israel is to be destroyed has to be scrapped. Otherwise there can be no peace in that region. Israel eventually will have to withdraw their settlers from the West Bank (which will become the State Of Palestine with Gaza presumably). At that point, all attacks upon Israel by Lebanese terrorists and Palestinians must stop (or serious consequences will occur) and all proclaimations that Israel should be destroyed must cease.

It's internal reform inside the Arab societies around Israel that must come for progress to be made.

It's just been on Radio 5 live that ,HMS Illustrious and HMS Bullwork are being sent to the region , to carry out an emergency evacuation of Brits in the region if needed.
