Jeeeez......a lot can happen in 24 hours.

Could people please desist from abusing each other where they cannot agree over an issue: is it not the best way to make someone who disagrees with you look stupid by simply offering a better arguement in return and exposing the weaknesses in their view point?

Some of the abuse posted lately has been particularly vile and it needs to end.

Also, there has been a recent trend where a particular member has been abused on a personal level becuase of that member's profession. That abuse is bang out of order and will not be tolerated.

I also implore members to have some common sense when starting new threads. There has been dozens of new threads posted in the past 24 hours over essentially the same topic and new threads can quickly become swamped in the forum in a matter of hours.

Its getting to a stage now where we will have to start deleting new threads where they essentially deal with the exact same issue as an existing thread in order to tidy the forum up a bit.

I think that this new job has gone to your head here JBG.  :D

I was waiting for someone to take the mickey....(Leonmc)

I started this thread as a response to over a dozen PMs of complaint I got this morning about a fairly abusive thread that was doing the rounds yesterday (you all know what I'm talking about).

Some people gave me hassle for not nipping the problem in the bud.....

You're damned if you do and damned if you don't, eh?

here hold on big Al has went nowhere! I have been simply monitoring the posts and frankly in recent months there has been very little worth contributing to.  I think that Owzat has also been about but like myself has'nt felt that theres been much to stimulate him.  Lets get a right old ding dong going about something we all can participate in.  JBG congrats mate on your new role, I think with both supersub and yourself onboard we'll be fine from here on in.

You want to worry when I delete this forum from my favourites, until then it is down to the standard of posting as to how often I visit. It's pretty hard to juggle two forums in a shortish visit at lunchtime and when I can be ar$ed in the evening (as now). I can now be found on the C4 forums, though I ain't impressed :(
