Naturally hes happy... what are you angry at him for? If they have no reason to have to sell the player then why should they lower their demands?
I hope we do get alves and i hope a deal can be struck soon but im not angry that the guy is reluctant to sell one of his best players..

I'm angry because he's a smug tw*t trying to hold a player against his wishes.

If the club is in a position where they do not need to sell then why should they accept our bid. They are just like any other club in the fact they have to replace players they sell and are only doing what they feel is best for the club. Also I think it would be a bit unfair if the player told the club he wont be playing for them. His under contract and if a player of ours did something like that we would all condemn it.
YOU SOUND LIKE YOU DONT WANT ALVES TO JOIN US...HOLD ON SHALL I STAY WITH SEVILLA OR JOIN LIVERPOOL...THERE,S NO CHOICE TO MAKE

they might have no choice though, with all the fans knowing he wants to leave them and him only playing half heartedly for his SECOND choice club they might see it as a better investment to sell him before he has a chance to fu.ck up and rapidly lose value... just a thought.

I like to think the player is a professional and if he has to stay he will play to the best of his ability. I seriously doubt he hates the club in anyway and if he does stay will decide not give 100%. I think his comments and his agents comments suggest he holds no malice to seville at all. If anything he understands that the club are trying to help him as much as possible but will not sell themselves short. Seville could of just said "not 4 sale" but they are ready to let him go.
