Good player and real good news if true. He is definately first 11 material and Benitez has first hand knowledge of his capabilities. Left back has not been done right this year and Fabio is going to sort out that position for sure.

To be honest, I'm still taking this as a pinch of salt, because there's nothing at all on Sky Sport News or the official LFC site as yet. Once it's on there then I'll believe it.

Yeah, why would Rafa look to bring in a quality defender on a free when we already have Traore and Warnock as cover for Riise? They're class, and I would be gutted to see either leave at the expense of bringing Aurelio in. Gutted.

You have to seize opportunities such as these which can improve your squad. It doesn't matter if a new left-back/midfielder is a top priority or not. I hope this turns out to be true. The few times I have watched Aurelio, I have liked the look of him and he has played reasonably well.

Wednesday night might just be a blessing in disguise, Rafa knows now that there are certain players he simply cannot rely on and he has to accept that Morientes is, well sh!te.

Defence is solid, Midfield is great and he has said that 1 or 2 strikers or even posibly 3 will be on there way in the summer.

Now is the time, Like with kewell when the board said he will get people on the edge of there seats, its time to get Liverpool the center forward it derserves, its time to deliever with a top notch striker who is gonna put the ball away.

i saw him playing on Eurosport in a youth Braziliian team along with a couple of other youngsters at that time including Ronaldo Gaucho (any guesses what his name is now?), Junior and another who i cant remember. Hed be a good signing and can dribble past players. Since he plays on the left im onyl assuming that either:

Traore is going or

Kewell is going or

Gonzalez will not sign for us and will b used to bait another player from La Liga.

Its now on newsnow.co.uk aswell. I wouldnt expect it to be on the news till monday as there is plenty of news to fill the weekend with all the fixtures.
