that one's got to be the pick of the bunch form me as well, 12 years later and my ears are still f*ckin ringing the place was so loud that afternoon, i've never heard noise like it when king kenny came on
do you remember the whole place erupting into "there's only one mrs shankly" when the late mrs nessie shankly was introduced? very emotional
just a shame norwich never read the script and decided to beat us

There's nothing wrong with someone putting country before club. There is nothing wrong with ppl stating that the best match they've been to is an England match. Some ppl choose to take more pride in their country than their club, each to their own.
So lay off the lad, not everyone can live in Liverpool and sit in the KOP on those amazing European nites.
I choose to balance between club & country, and don't tell me that you won't be down the pub rejoicing in England's success if they hoist the World Cup.
