We are now turning into the next Spurs, Villa, Everton... whatever you want to call us, we're getting there fast.

A once great club that demands unrealistic targets with no patience and wants change at the first sign of things going wrong.

And all the idiots who slated Houllier. The man's got more passion and pride about this club than any single person on this board and deserves nothing but respect.

The sides in excellent shape for the new manager... but it could be torn to pieces now.

The thing that hurts the most is i can't wish upon you that you'd get what you deserve which would be relegation and the club into administration!!!

I just hope that a new manager has the vision and ability to build on Houlliers success or this club will NEVER EVER recover.

Hopefully he can be remembered for man who started the revoloution. Otherwise the next manager will be the one who started the decline!!!

Well Stu I agree with you on the fact Houllier had passion but he was given more than enough time to win the league.
We had to act now, even if the manager we get now if he is worse then we will have to act again.
The fans dont have unrealistic expectations, a club like Liverpool should be in 1st place not 4th or 5th.
We have been in mediocrity for too long now, I wish Houllier all the best but we need a manager that can get us in 1st place

5 years he has been here and he has moved the club forward alot, now its time for someone else to take the reins...

Out of order mate we all thought what was written about GED was wrong BUT i do not condone that from forum members.
