Most people seem to be forgetting that we still have the speedy Frenchman to call on. I think that Liverpool should go for Alaves and Simao. God knows if they have enough money to sign those two, but Pongolle, Fowler, Bellamy and Crouch could do the striking business.

At the moment, we seem to be closely linked with Kuyt, Alaves and Simao. Can't see that lot coming to Anfield--so to go back to my original point, it would be a good summer's business if we kept Pongolle and bought Alaves and Simao.

it would be better business if we SOLD Pongolle and invested the money on strengthening the squad.

Pongolle was a good prospect, but he has proven himself to be dead wood.

Pongolle isn't good enough for Blackburn let alone Liverpool. He's a decent player and had potential, but couldnt even keep Dickov out of the Blackburn side!
