I think this move to his boyhood idol's coupled with Bellamy's recent personal circumstances ( got married ) will settle him down quite well, not to mention his new team mates who'll look after him and keep him humble. He know's he isn't the best player in the team any more and will work harder as a result, he know's the crack and in my opinion won't be any hassle. He's at a stage in his career where he will start peaking too, I think this is was an ideal time to buy him and a smart move from Benitez.

agree completly, Bellamy is no where near a top class player. Can anyone actually see this guy scoring goals agaist the top sides in the premiership and the champions league. Right now we need a TOP class striker who can score at least 15+ league goals a season, Bellamy is not that player. Im pretty sure Benitez knows this, so he must have another striker lined up for us to sign. Bellamy is a replacement for Cisse, to have as a pacey option.

You will be eating the humble pie friend.

And you can wash it down with a big tall glass of....

He will be a success, im sure rafa knows what hes doing and if he thinks bellamy can do the job for us then i will go along with that. Yeah we will probably buy another striker this summer who will be our main buy but i reckon Bellamy can also do great. We could have a very good strikeforce by the start of the new season.

Bellamy will be good. I predict 12 + goals next season for the lad.

He is however injury prone - not good.

Quit your moaning and slating, how about giving the guy a chance before you start on him. Criticizing him before hes even pulled on the red shirt, ridiculous.

i will support him, im just suprised how many people are expecting this guy to come here and be some superstar striker. He will be decent no doubt, as he is a decent player but no more than that, in fact i do think he will get around 12 to 15 goals next season in all competitions, but i dont think thats what we need right now. We need someone to score about 25 in all competitions next year.

I doubt he will be a superstar but i think he will do a very good job for us. He may not score a sh!tload of goals like we need but if so it looks like we are going to get another striker to go with him to sort that. Then again we cant guarantee we will buy a goal machine, just got to take the chance and hope. Ill give this guy as much chance as any other player, im not going to criticize him yet, he could do very well.

One word for you my friend "WANKERRRRRRRR"

Bellamy will score goals and i predict now he will get 20 premiership goals next season. As for Injurys i have a sneak feeling alot of them have been fake. But now he is at a team that he wants to play for watch the lad peak, Rafa has pulled the deal of the summer off.

I don't think he's the only striker we'll be signing before the start of the season.

Hopefully he'll pitch in with atleast 15 goals, and with the a n other striker to come in ,who will hopefully do the same if not better. Imo i think we'll be fine in the goal scoring dept.

It's not just his goals that Bellamy will bring , it's his abililty to create goals for others aswell.

You are forgetting one thing mate, he is now in a quality side with top quality playing around him he will thrive on this, with alonso and gerrard putting balls on his foot and playing prob off crouch it looks like a recipe for goals. He could become a legend at this club during the next 4 years. We will all love him and he will love us.
