ok serious stuff now.

bellamy will be an asset. he is one of those players that defenders hate as he never gives up. i dont think i have ever seen him give less than 100%. ok he is mouthy on the pitch but i suppose that shows passion (we just dont like mouthy players when they dont play for us). and also lets be honest, who doesnt feel like telling shearer to funk off now and again?

if bellamy had come through the ranks at liverpool we would all love him even with his moods but i am certain that playing for the club he supports should stop his trouble making in the dressing room but probaly increase his passion on the pitch. i think he will be a very good  buy for us

I reckon, for what it's worth, we should at least give him the chance instead of slagging him off before he's even pulled the red shirt on. Most people have come on here at dwelled over what he's done in the past, dug up the lads history and used it against him. I know he's no angel (far from it!) and he's had his issues but ffs give the kid a break. Playing for us you might just see a different Bellamy.
Suppose he bucled down, got on really well with Rafa/Gerrard etc and netted us 25 goals next season? you doubters will be licking his arse then.

So it looks like he's a red player now, so please, please get off his case and get behind him. Give him the support and encouragement he rightfully should get and lets see what the boy can do for us before we call him.

Has to be said, there are some cracking goals in there. And the fact that it's a compilation of goals from just one season gives it a bit more validity than some of the youtube clips packages out there. :D

Good to see a variety of goals in that compilation. Left AND right footers, headers, poxy goals, skillful finishes, wonder goals and tap-ins.

Could be a cracking signing.  :shifty

This has just occured to me:

Everyone pleading to sign Joaquin, Sabrosa, Saviola, Kuyt, etc (who we'd all love to see at LFC, granted) must have forgotten that as frm this coming season, UEFA decree that we must have 6 UK-born players in our squad to compete in Europe.

This would explain why Rafa is going for Bellamy, etc.

Scrap Bellamy plans...yes he's cheap and will probably net us 10 goals in all comps but why do other leading teams buy star players and we go for a cheap " the old he'll get us by option, and might be good scenario".  Why not spend a good deal of money on a player like Torres or Fred and then get some re-sale value back when he is 27.  A bit like Man Utd have done with Rooney.
