Apart from Cole, A. & Cole J. England looks bereft for ideas on how to build an attack let alone finish it. Admittedly they have done a bit better since Cole's goal but...

I have seen England play a lot better

What happened to Owen? Just dragged myself out of bed in time to see him being stretchered off. Looked serious though...had him strapped into the stretcher.

They've had a decent first half and the most notible thing is England have upped the tempo of there recent displays they are also playing the ball on the deck as opposed to the long ball, and doing enough !

Also we've just seen a possible contender for goal of the tournament, what a cracker :buttrock

Owen has done his cruciate ligament. We may have seen the last of Michael Owen for a while, but it could also be the end of his career. :oops:

Rooney not happy being subbed off but very little option for Sven. Rooney has been ineffectual. Hopefully the 70min run will help Rooney with some match fitness and sharpen him up for the next game.
