Moores to step aside - Replaced by dalglish?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Major overhaul expected. Houllier's backroom stuff will be replaced. Sammy Lee to be promoted and Rushie to get full time appointment. Board composition will change as well. New investor to be sought.

Take this with a pinch of salt but keep your fingers crossed that Moores and Parry won't screw it up this time.

Thaksin would pursue other clubs if the Liverpool talks collapsed. He wants two seats on the Liverpool board while the club are offering only one. Thaksin has said Moores' holding would drop to around 35 percent if the deal went ahead and that the Thai offer would inject £45 million into the club for new players and to help finance a bigger stadium.

Quoted from today's Mirror. Like I say, take it for information only.

I think the new investor will be in addition to the Thai's offer, now that has been tabled for >2 weeks and no conclusion in sight, Moores and Parry must seriously look for some backup as we need new funding for the proposed stadium and new players. There will be no shortage of taker for a large chunk of LFC.
