the queen. I hate her and the royals they're just a bunch of queers. Not surprised a rangers man has got an mbe. Protestants and all that. I'm no bigot, not interested in that :censored:

Its got something to do with liverpool keeping flags scouse. No union jack no mbe. I mean paisley, fagan and dalglish got nothing. Dalglish's celtic career? Union jacks and govan barstards get them. Ferguson(both baz and the spaz)

The Queen doesn't sit down and make up a list of people she likes, the list is compiled by the government . The Queen has f'uck all say in it .

She is in fact a mad keen LFC supporter and has a season ticket on the kop .

Ok, so it's been said on here that he did a good job, but that's it, he didn't just do a good job, he excelled,
he pushed himself above his limits, both at Istanbul and in the FA cup. He went beyond the call of duty and I can't praise him enough.
And now he is producing his magic for England.

That's what these awards are all about, surely, where people excell themselves and go beyond what is expected of them
and are unselfish and generous when they do it.

That is Stevie G.

He has our adoration, which he knows, but it would just be good for someone officially to say "well done" and "thank you",
and he deserves nothing less.

Obviously I was kidding, but in all seriousness the awards are given to those subjects that raise the profile of her Kingdom.

When Gerrard plays and people around the World say that he is one of the best players in the World and he is English, that raises the profile of England. When you add that he is a good professional, keeps out of trouble and is a model Brit (ie he exibits that Bulldog British "never quit" attitude) it should be a done deal and I am confused as to why not. I am sure he will get something in the New Years list.
