But he hasn't got great hair & I'm not sure if he can dance!

Only joking son, but on a serious note, I think his attitude could be damaging for the club. He seems to be very self centred and not much of a team player.

Also I think we need a different option up front, we already have one tall man, I think we could do with someone a la Owen (but not actually him)

do people not think one of the reasons we haven't signed anyone is to do with there is a bit of a kick around going on in Germany at the moment, where one or two of the best footballers in the world may be hanging around??  maybe they are a bit tied up to sit down and talk contracts??

I don't know.. just a thought?
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

Most of the players we are "supposedly" after arnt going to the world cup! ie Bellamy, Bent,Defoe,Alves etc. I hope we are waiting to see what happens in Italy as there is bound to be some penalties inflicted on Juventus, Milan and Lazio. I wouldnt mind cherrypicking the best from their squads.(I can dream cant I?)

So far you've said we should sign Ibrahimovic, Villa, Torres and Aimar. How much money do you think LFC have got to spend this summer?

Oh, and you also said that we should keep Cisse, who is as good a finisher as Henry.

Can't help but notice "Location: Manchester" in your profile... :D

Torres will cost at least £30m on his own (Man U had a £25m bid rejected, don't forget), and with cash for Cisse down the toilet, we won't have anywhere near £30m for our entire summer budget, let alone to spend on one player.

You really need to get some realistic transfer prospects, Villa would be an amazing signing but it isnt going to happen he would cost too much and doesnt want to leave, torres would cost too much and is overrated, ibrahimovic no thanks. Aimar is the only one that could possibly happen and even thats unlikely. I would love to see aimar here though

I think your mistaking us with a team called chelsea, they are the one with the billionnaire owner, im afraid we dont have 200mil transfer budgets each summer

ye but the thing is we shud have sum investors cumin in and give benitez the money he needs to challenge chelsea and gerrard needs another midfeilder who can score goals and create em as well as he does n we need two strickers and a midfeilder to go on the right so the ideal right winger is alves or pennent and for the rest let benitez do his magic and see wot he cums up with coz after all he is one of the best in the transfer market just look at sissoko

One thing that's been consistent in all the press rumours related to LFC has been the cheapness of our mooted targets. The priciest of all those realistically linked has been Kuyt, at around £12m.

Kuyt aside, we've had a £3.5m bid for Pennant rejected, there's talk of Viduka for £1-2m, Bellamy has a clause of £6.7m, Bent is sub-£10m...

The message I'm getting from all of this is that we haven't got masses of cash to splash around. Bearing in mind all these "targets" were being mentioned before the potential £8m we'd have got for Cisse went down the swanny, we may see Rafa putting on a sheepskin and doing some Harry Redknapp-style wheeler-dealing to get the bodies he needs.
