Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Liverpool boss Gerard Houlliwe is convinced he will be in charge at Anfield next season despite continued speculation he is set to lose his job.

The Reds refusal to publicity comment on the rumours had led to suggestions that a managerial change is immintent.

But the Frenchman insisted "I'm 100% sure I will be here next season."

"The directors are aware the team has qualified three times for the CL in the last 6 years. The speculation is a load of rubbish!"

I also believe that Houllier will be sacked either next Thursday or Friday.

I dont see how he can stay now.GH is just being his usual optimistic self.blind optimism you might say.I dont believe Liverpool would leave him this exposed unless there was a genuine threat to his position.Im assuming they are waiting for a yes from the new man before they give GH his marching orders.I just hope they put us all out of our misery soon.Im no fan of GH but he deserves a bit more respect than he is getting at the moment. He should be put out of his misery as well.
