Big AL: not all of the old members have left.

I'm still here: the problem being that for the next three months my personal circumstances have changed due to work and I can't get to a computer every day like I used to.

To be honest Big Al things have changed a lot since the better days of the forum going back 6 months ago or so, but in some ways the fly by night idiots have always been there and always will. They are there on every forum.

I was a bit disappointed that many of the older forum members have upped and left, and personally I'd love to see many of them return and continue posting regardless of the ****** some people post in reply.

The biggest problem is that you never see Supersub or LFC here anymore, and the forum needs to be moderated. 6 months ago Supersub has run a very tight ship, but now the place has fallen apart a bit.

A couple of other forums on the net contacted me and asked whether I would be a moderator on their forums but I'd prefer to stay here and help moderate this one: however, my offer to Supersub to help out has fallen on deaf ears.

Agree we could use a hands-on moderator. I'd be more than happy if you stepped in to help out JBG. Supersub has been around but not for the last 2/3 weeks i don't think.

Supersub went on holiday a few weeks back and then said he was moving house and wouldnt have his internet connection sorted out for a while.Hopefully he will be back as he was a great influence on this board.I think its all gone a bit tits up the last few weeks because people are a fed up.I just couldnt raise any enthusiasm for the battle for fourth place at all,it seemed like the ultimate booby prize.Anyway, lets all stick at it and try and get this forum up to speed again.

I'm still here aswell guys.  I tried to start a bit of debate a few weeks back to get us all posting again back on April 30th (see here for my two bobs worth) but I noticed a day or two back the Leeds fans were back so i've refrained from posting.

What I want is the way it was a few months back, the old regulars here again.

This used to be the best thing on the internet for me, it's a shame we let ourselves down sometimes (i'll admit it, I can be childish sometimes but it is the close season).

I apologise for my extended absence but the moosus had me ripping up laminated floors,carpets,floorboards,coffins..but I've re-buried her now so I can get back to the serious things in life, like the re-building of our great football team.

It got bad though while you were away SS.  These idiots from Leeds kept posting cack on the forum.  They were using it like their own personal messageboard.

Look here,
And here,
And here aswell.

Okay you get the picture.  It has reduced the sites allure somewhat.  Old posters don't contribute as much as they used to.  Owzat has done a runner to another forum altogether.  That is what's bothering me.  I even registered on another forum myself but I thought i'd show a bit of loyalty.  I've been here quite a while now compared to some.

I know it is the close season, but evn Stu isn't posting as much.  Leeds fans shouldn't be able to post their ****** on here.  I know the drill.  Whenever we have been playing a team, we usually get a few fans from other clubs posting on here as a bit of banter e.g. Newcastle, Marseille, it is part of the protocol of football forums.  It's harmless.  But these Leeds fans have been taking the ******.

that's the problem with pre-season, there's too much speculation, most of which is b#llocks. i'd rather not talk about anything until it actually happens because it is all hypothetical in my eyes.
