Fan stabbed

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby A.B. » Thu May 25, 2006 9:36 pm

A LIVERPOOL man died after being stabbed in Edinburgh while celebrating the red's FA cup victory.

The 22-year-old victim Mark Blackie, is said to have moved from Merseyside to Scotland two years ago.

He was killed just after mid-night on Saturday, just hours after seeing Liverpool win the FA Cup.

He is believed to have been at a party with friends in the Wester Hailes area, celebrating the football results when an argument broke out and he was fatally stabbed.

Two men aged 29 and 40 have been charged in connection with his death and appeared at the city's sheriff court yesterday.

Very sad to read that things like this happen, he was only 22 years of age and I hear that he was going to be a father as well. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family  :(

RIP and YNWA Mark Blackie.

Knife culture is getting out of control, and this is an example of it's tragic consequences. Idiots who carry blades need to be dealt with in a tough way so that this sort of tragedy can be avoided. My thoughts and condolencies are with his family tonight.

Shame, really! Violence in the world is unstoppable, no one can live in harmony and peace and everyone lives in deception and lies.

My thoughts goes to his family!

Very sad to hear that.  Stabbings are getting out of hand.  There was another one on the news tonight, 2 students attacked somewhere in London by 3 nutcases, one of the students stabbed to death, totally unprovoked.  If anyone else saw that on the news I'm sure you'll agree it was pretty disturbing stuff - they showed the CCTV of it happening.

From Shankly to Brendan we follow our team, Rome to Istanbul we've all lived the dream. Our journey is long, our goal stays the same, to keep for our children the famous red name.

RIP.

When will Blair sort this sh*te out, and jail ANYONE found to be carrying a knife?

Harsh? Not if it stops cowards stabbing people to death because they are too thick to argue their point.
