Answer to number 6, Dont people sell players to teams who they play? What the fu*k is all that about, Why would istanbul have anything to do with this.

And answer to 7, U dont think Shevchenko will hack it against those teams hahaha

He'll never come to us, plus his wife has been looking at houses in London. What does that tell ya.

It tells you that they are looking for somewhere to live in London if he comes here, Why would he look for houses in any other place, like Liverpool, remember WE ARNT AFTER HIM. We will never be after him and this topic is beyond ridicules, pointless, you might as well start one on Rooney or Ronaldinho.

what are we meant to express with our thoughts and opinions on this topic. if you want us all to go 'yeah, great, we'd love him' then fair enough - but you must know that the real answer is 'its never going to happen'. not because of istanbul (total b0ll0cks), not because he couldn't hack it against bolton or sheffield united (a very odd idea) and not because he's played ten years in a slow league (and is therefore rubbish against english clubs??) - but because, quite simply, we can't afford him...

...especially as all our budget this summer is going on ronaldinho.

I think with his skill he would make us an absolute force, I have no doubt in my mind, I know Chelsea are high favourites to bag him, but I watched an interview where he openly bashed Chelsea and Mourinho after Chelsea beat Barcelona last year, he didn't seem to care for them too much at all and I am sure the memory of our heart overcoming that of Milan would sell him on a merseyside deal. I read a report somewhere that Liverpool where interested, but it was from some independent sports site that said we had landed Figo 2 weeks after he signed for Inter :D.

Let me know your thoughts and opinions.

We might have a chance, but a bidding war with Bolton & WBA is a distinct possibility

Except for the fact he said

- he wants out of Milan
- Wants to move to England
- Wants to play for a top 4 club
- money isn't an issue

Some of you need to relax.

I would love him to come to Liverpool as he is a great player. He has great affection for Liverpool  as Ian Rush once gave him a pair of boots for finishing top scorer when he was a kid. Do I believe he will come .... no.

mikopool, bear in mind that when he says money isn't an issue he probably means he doesn't mind whether he gets 80 grand a week or 90 grand a week. i'm sure though that if we ask milan if money is an issue they will give a completely different answer. putting it simply, his wages may be just about, at a push, affordable if we offload several fringe players. his transfer fee, on the other hand, will be enormous.

and i think we're all perfectly relaxed and enjoying taking the p!ss

We'll never get him so this discussion's a non-starter, however...

Sheva is one of the few overseas players that I would have utter confidence in from the outset.  All transfers are gambles but he's as close to a sure thing as I think is possible in football.  He is NOT too old.  He is NOT too slow.  He would NOT need months/years to bed in...

The man is a class forward and he would make us a better team without question.  I'd have him playing for us in a minute but Roman's millions means it will never happen.

:no

That would never happen. We couldnt afford his wages nor his transfer fee.

The most stupid post i have ever heard!
"My Idea was to build Liverpool into a bastion of invincibility"

"To build Liverpool up and up, untill eventually everyone would have to submit!!!"
