Mrs Drummerphil, I know little english, but I know a lot about human beings, and you're a great human being. Don't feel like a bad mum, to reach everywhere in the battle you all are fighting you must be beyond human, you cannot be in two places at the same time, you're doing your best, and doing what's humanly possible, you're doing great.
I never took too seriously the relationships that are based just in the internet, but this case it's like Phil was one of my friends around here. I think about his situation at work, in the bus when I'm going home, and I tell my closest people about it, and they ask me about how Phil's doing -- Both Itsaso my girlfriend and Maria my best friend send you the best wishes.
About the cards, CIGGY you're rite, we must keep on fighting or start fighting on that aspect too. I have some things prepared for Phil but also wanted to write a hand written mail for him, and I have found not time for doing this properly and with time (I'm working + having 2 exams very soon to finish my career) so I've delayed it, but I promise I'll send him the whole thing very soon.
When the beginning of the month comes (and the wages with it) I'll make another donation, the sum we have achieved is nice, but the battle is long and the more we can help him, the better.
Thanks again for bringing that feedback from Drummerphil, and please do tell him that this Spaniard really cares about him. Thank you for sharing how you feel MrsDrummerphil, I feel proud that you deposit that confindence on us, please do whenever you want. I think it helps, and reading some truths (like you're doing greatly) might help you too -- In hard times we forget sometimes to look the positive things, and some friend words are necessary.
Hugs.
