Cisse. - Djib-brilliant?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Daft question. Alonso is consistant, Cisse isn't. Alonso making a mistake is a rarity where as for Cisse it isn't. How many good overall performances has Djibril had this season? Not more than five, and probably less than that.

That's why he gets a load of stick.

Not bother, just make us a 10 man team, not attempt to run or try and pass etc.

Absolute disgrace, he was more interested in modelling his boots than playing in the cup final, hopefully he'll have a good world cup and will be sold.

Have you ever had cramp yourself?

If you haven't, then you can be excused.

If you HAVE had cramp, you will know that it varies MASSIVELY in severity, from a bit of discomfort to absolute agony.

I play sport nearly everyday, and some cramp disappears as soon as you stretch the muscle concerned.

However, I have been rendered virtually immobile for over 30 minutes before now, when it has twisted right the way aroundand won't go back. It got me the other day, where I had it in my calf AND hamstring. It's murder.

Trust me - as much as you hate Cisse, you CANNOT call him a "Sissy" for not being able to run with cramp in his hamstring.

Most people disslike him for his attitude. He needs to get his head down and hustle when he looses the ball instead of throwing his arms up in the air.

You can´t blame Cisse for not living up to his 14million pound price because in all honesty he ain't that good. But this pussy needs to drop his egocentric way o life and get with the flow. The team is always more important and Cisse should see that and just shut his mouth and hustle when a defender gets the ball from him.

Traore is way crappier than Cisse but the fans are behind him because he hustles. Oki everyone of us are in agony when we see him run onto the turf and would like him sold but it ain't personal like it is with Cisse.

I'd like Cisse to prove us all wrong and come back next season with a more mature attitude but I really really doubt it. If he does that I'll promise you that all fans will be behind him.

Lando is right. Cramps are terrible, it's like getting stabbed with a knife. They're awful if you have them in your calfs let alone your hamstring.

You can't run with a cramp, unless you want your leg amputated.

Yeah you do have a point and I did think I was rather harsh on Cisse and yeah I suppose I didn't know how bad his cramp was but I suppose Ii got extremely annoyed with Cisse when I saw Harewood hobbling down the pitch, Gerrard running, Sissoko and Carragher solidering on and their was Cisse doing sod all. I just presumed it was a minor cramp ones that I usually get when I play football.

I don't hate Cisse, I have nothing against the lad just I don't like his attitude, if he gave it 100% everytime he played and didn't throw tantrums I wouldn't keep throwing the book at him. I'll admit perhaps I was rather harsh on Cisse but from what I saw everyone just got on with it, and didn't Gerrard score that 40 yard cracker on a cramp?

That's normal, if you not fit in your boss plan ... 100% he will "kick" you out, even if you played well.

but surely other than the top 4 sides in the Prem the rest are garbage.

Absolute garbage. Teams like Spurs, Bolton, Newcastle (under Glenn Roeder), Wigan and West Ham are very good teams. They might not be top four sides but they are by far from "garbage" a team like Sunderland and West Brom are garbage.

ok well he scored 3 past the hammers

He's apparently courting Marseille...(originally reported by Datasport in France)

France international striker Djibril Cisse is ready to join French giants Marseille from FA Cup winners Liverpool should they launch a new bid he told La Provence newspaper on Friday.
The 24-year-old scored in the epic 3-3 draw with West Ham in the FA Cup final last Saturday, which Liverpool won on penalties, but is believed to be surplus to manager Rafael Benitez' plans for next term.
"I would look seriously at an offer, if Marseille showed renewed interest," said Cisse.
"I have never hidden my interest in playing for Marseille," added Cisse, who has scored 98 goals in 221 matches for Liverpool since joining from Auxerre.
"For me France has two clubs. Auxerre and Marseille who I have always dreamt about. I repeat once again, yes one day I will come and play for Marseille."
Cisse, who has been selected for the French squad for the World Cup finals, revealed that he had come close to signing for Marseille last season but it had been brought to a halt by Liverpool.
"I had very strong contacts with Marseille last summer and winter.
"It was about to come to a positive solution but Liverpool were against me moving. At Marseille they thought it was me who didn't want to come but that was not at all the case."
However Cisse, scorer of nine goals in 23 international appearances, said he would leave his club future aside until the World Cup campaign was over.
"I believe that after the World Cup (June 9 - July 9) I will make a decision over my future."

Cisse hasn't scored 98 goals for Liverpool, let alone played 221 matches. That could be his career total, but the majority of those were in La Championat.
