I know he gets slated by many, me included, but on his day the lad was unstoppable.

Good Luck to him.

I'm undoubtedly in a minority but I think it was a very sad day the day Big Emile was sold.....I remember sitting in the Anfield Rd end at the Leeds game this year with a mate of mine who was constantly on Emile's back. There was a ten minute period early in the second half when we must have got to the byeline on either flank what, half a dozen times and every cross was too high, too far infront or too far behind for Emile to latch on to. I think this sums up some of the troubles he's had, I'm not blindly faithful to the extent that I can't admit he's not scored enough goals and that I'm not frustrated that he couldn't put in Brum style performances week in week out, but you just have to look at how he frightened defenders whenever he was in the pitch during our earlier Euro campaigns to see how he can make a difference.

Numerous managers and players can't all be wrong, good luck Emile, I for one will be sad not to see you in a red shirt next season..... :(

The man always conducted himself with dignity..Even his comments after his move to Brum contain no bitterness about his time with us, and lets face it bearing in mind how he was used he could have had a right whinge but thats not his style.
All the best big fella.:) :) :)

I think he will do well for Birmingham, our style of football just didn't suit him, like it don't suit any of the players we buy  :p
