On May 25th 2005 we was 3-0 down to ac milan and i went to my bedroom and prayed for a come back as i watched the second half and the et and penalties my prayers was answered

Today the 13th may 2006 we was 2-1 down to west ham united and didnt look like scoring really in the 1st half so i again prayed to god for a come back this time i said let gerrard score from 40 yards ( No lies) so everyone can see how great he is and again he answered. I dont go to church but i am a strong believer. It makes u wonder

So out of the thousands maybe millions of fans, including the Milan and West Ham supporters praying for their team in those finals God answered YOUR prayers?!
They should give you a winners medal and ride on the bus tomorrow!!

Dont really know what your emplying if your making a joke or what but im just saying that i prayed twice and both came true i never said anything about me helping the team to win

I think it is nice that you prayed. All prayers are answered, but the answer is not always 'yes'. I'm not sure if God takes sides, but perhaps yours was the most fervent prayer out there (?)
It is a nice thought, though, and at least we won!!!

Personally, I think it's all down to Kelly Dalglish. She reported from Istanbul and Cardiff and it's as if her Dad's using her to convey his mystical powers and help us. Maybe we should employ her just to turn up at every game?
