With Garcia ,Fowler unavailable and Alonso still doubtful , whats your stating eleven ? .

If Xabi is not passed fit I guess the only real questions revolve around Right Mid (as I would expect Stevie to move back to the centre alongside Momo ) and the two up front .

its looking likely that alonso will be fit for the game and should start. he came through a training session yesterday with no reaction. so in that case its the strongest starting eleven.

i reckon that benitez will start with nando over cisse as he tends to fill out the midfield a bit more when we're not in possession. we pretty much know that west ham will play their normal high tempo game and try and come at us and cisse is negligable in any defensive capacity whatsoever. i'm sure he'll come on at some point in the game though.

however i've got a feeling morientes will start upfront with crouch. cisse will only be in the starting eleven if alonso doesn't play, and that will be on the right wing.

Take your point Andy but any team that wants to "come on to us " would surely invite Cisse's pace on the counter attack ? I know Rafa has "favoured" Nando many time this season but for me the Nando /Crouch combo has no pace whatsoever and is dependent on the the midfield (Gerrard) getting well forward in support .Personally I hope Rafa gives Cisse a go in the starting line up .

Looking at the choices so far ,they all seem a bit predictable (mine included ) .Will Rafa take a leaf from Svens book and include an unexpected teenager (Anderson) :devil:

Haha, I remember those days when Stu (and Leon?) kept critisizing me on creating too many posts/threads on "my starting eleven". So anyways, I am inclined to try this for tomorrow's starting eleven:

SUBS: Dudek, Morientes, Alonso, Hamann, Traore/Warnock.

Alonso might not be fit in time, so its better not to risk him. It won't matter much anyways seeing that we have such a world class bunch of midfielders in Sissoko and Gerrard.
