Mine went through on the "Quasi/Cash" option no problem . Have just been notified by Paypal that it's been "accepted by the recipient .

Can't understand how some of you are struggling with this . How do you find your way home at night ? .

I would like to inform you all that our good friend Zara has donated a very substancial amount of money to Phil and Karen. Unfortunatly I could'nt send that much but it goes to show you the generosity of this forum, and hopefully they can put the cash to some good use.

She's fine we still speak everyday and she is very concerned about Phil and has been for a long time.
Ive advised her to come back to the forum, surely with current circumstances we all can agree that lifes to short for petty internet arguments I hope she comes back.

Clive, who are you?  First post was to explain your donation.

Are you a friend of Phil's or something?  Thank you very much, anyway. :)

Drummerphil,

Hope you are feeling ok mate. I always knew you had some sort of illness but never wanted to pry. I read all your posts since I joined and found you funny and strong willed. Sometimes we even argued in posts. I haven't been a member for long and didn't speak with you privately, but I got the impression you were a good guy. I haven't posted in the first ten pages of this topic, as I didn't really speak directly with you, although I feel for you and your family.
However I realise this is a time when you need all the help and support. So this is my message for you phil. Your a great guy who everyone here respects. Your wife is doing a wonderful job keeping us all informed of the situation, while she must be facing a daily struggle herself. Keep strong mate. I am touched by the response you are getting on this forum. You must of been one hell of a guy. So chin up and keep smiling.
