Lad, if you think RAWK is so good, stay there.

You think this place is cliquey?  There are about six or seven posters on there (or Legends as they like to call themselves...... I like to call them something else) who run the gaff, and their word is gospel.  Legend my arse, at the end of the day, they're still men like you and me who go down the pub and debate football all night.

Are they important Legends then?  Does your opinion count for less then if you were standing a yard away from them?

Just because they have 23,876 posts to their name on an internet forum makes them think they have some sort of credence.  Your opinion doesn't count if you're not a regular member, it only counts if you're replying to a thread these "Super Chiefs" have posted in.  I've posted about 60 posts in nearly three years on that site because if I'm being honest, I don't like being logged in there!!!!!!  I'd rather read the opinions of the members on here.  Or TalkLFC, or ThisIsAnfield.com.

I even used to like reading Paul Tomkins articles, but now I find I can't finish them anymore.  I used to always check if he'd submitted a new one.  I'll still be buying his new book next month, and I'll probably enjoy it, but give me Bigmick's opinions from this site over him any day.

Plus, they have this saying called "RAWK-friendly" which proper gets under my skin.  Fucking self important pricks.

RAWK is BIG and very successful, but I feel they can be a little up their own arses too much, that's all.  I like a lot of things that they do and would like to incorporate some of the said things into this site, but I find I can't usually stay logged in there more than five minutes because you get the feeling you are just not being listened to, it's TOO BUSY for my liking if anything, and what's the point of that?  Your post gets lost in two seconds flat.  I also find the majority of the posts in the Liverpool discussion are one sentence long.  Who even wants to read that?

Personally, I like the quirkiness of this forum a lot more than the seriousness of RAWK.

What’s the deal with Paul Tomkinson? I have read his work and he doesn’t know anything more about football than most fans, he is just a lot more articulate.

Why do you (RAFABENITEZ) always come on here and say how sh1t newkit is and how great RAWK is, I agree with Johnny, if you love it so much just stay there, if you like it here then instead of slugging off threads at every opportunity why don’t you start putting in some quality posts?

Answer to this forums problems = Get into the LFC-General Discussion area and put in some decent posts.

That's a sound evaluation/description of RAWK there Jonny. It's a cracking site and i pop on every couple of days to read the articles by Armin, Tomkins and some of the other regulars. There's a good write up on the reserves each week and the ticket exchange is very good BUT your right, there are loads of one sentence replies and there are so many posters it would take ages to get to know people over there.

As for Tomkins. I've enjoyed reading his articles for a couple of years now and thought his book was excellent BUT since he has been on the books at LFC.TV he has become a real 'company man'. His articles have got a little predictable and i get the impression he is almost afraid to be even slightly critical about anything LFC.

I like it here. It gets dross from time to time but lets face it, if you talk LFC 12 months a year you're bound to end up chasing your own tail (and everyone elses!) at some stage. There are still plenty of good posters on this board and i feel like i've made a bunch of friends in the last two and a half years on here. I do miss certain posters on here. Especially Old Red Eyes, it would be great to see a few more posts from Dalglish and Supersub and it would also be cool to hear a few more footy related posts from Leon (not tellings off lad!)

The only reasons im there more is because the muppets arent tolerated and :censored: threads are disposed of. Thats all Im asking happens here. I would love to write great big articles on here and RAWK, I just dont have the time as its AS level year at school. If I can I will get some good threads going on here to try and kick it up again, heck Ill even email some material to RAOTL when I have the time.

I love this place really, it can be great, alot warmer than RAWK but the 'good members' on here seem to be being diluted by muppets.

oh right, so it's the mods fault that people are starting cr@p threads then is it? if people thought for two seconds before starting sh#te in the first place then that's the problem solved. we can't be on here 24/7 you know.

RAWK hasn't got any personality. It's too elitist and I'm an Internet communist who believes everyone has the right to post their views and feelings no matter how moronic. Me complaining could contradict this, but everyone has to let off steam now and then, and I'm certainly not a serial moaner.

Take Roberts (please. And don't bring him back   :D  only joking). But on a serious note, he does post some quality on here among the spam, which in fairness he doesn't do in LFC, and his opinions are often edcated and well put forawrd, but anyone with the slightest sense of humour isn't tolerated over there. I used to post there and it just got so dull with every member trying to compete with each other to see who is the biggest no-it-all. V. Dull.

I like it here. It's like my e-home. I wouldn't want this place to go too RAWKish, but maybe more control in LFCchat is needed, though I can certainly appreciate that our mods are over run with idiots posting everything ten times all over the place and starting barneys. I don't mind if they stay, but the should be forced to read the rules.

A lot of the established members are as guilty as the people spamming as they only fan the flames by reacting. I am just amazed that people can get so much pleasure out of berating another members post just cos they are annoyed by it. Just let it go and move on. However you'll notice that most of these issues arise outside of the transfer windows, when there is very little to talk about.

There are only so many topics you can discuss on a daily basis before you roam into old territory or complete nonsense. Everyone on this board is guilty of one, the other or both. It's like having a conversation with your mates in the pub without the alcohol. The genius of alcohol is that you can get away with the bollox and everyone has forgotten what you said the next day so you are good for the next night out. :D

This is what I'm talking about! I just wrote an essay in LFC chat regarding this season and what it's meant to me. It might not be Twain or Dickens, but it's my thoughts committed to virtual paper and you'd think that at least the effort, if not the content, would be appreciated. First response I get: "someone's got far to much time on there hands". Aside from the two glaring grammatical errors which are not a result of poor typing skills but rather a lack of IQ points, this is just :censored:. What's the funking point? Ok, it's nothing new, but after a while it just gets so tedious when it's all that ever happens. This is why I do't bother anymore. I know that there is nothing the mods can do, but it still p1ss3s me off.
