there are so many valued posters recently 'threatening' to do one because of newbies or spammers clogging up the board, its unreal. as jmac said... its coming to the end of the season and worse will follow... just ignore it. the cream will always rise to the top.

there are too many 'mini' fan clubs though. that are quick to dismiss others opinions.

this is the first thing i do when i log on. come in here.
to be able to share banter/knowledge with other reds is an essential part of my life. wherever they come from.... many of us work long hours and have young families so any time free to come here is precious.... to me anyway. ok, there are pages of drivel to wade through first. and not much of it is 'entertainment'. but frequently there is a hell of a lot to enjoy on this board.

the time i do spend in this site, to me is usually well invested.

I have noticed it's gone down hill a fair bit, and I from time to time get caught up in stupid internet spats which in all honesty is ridiculous. Also a while ago I had maybe a couple of drunken outbursts at some of the more knowledgable and respected members for no reason at all, and I have noticed most of the time I get pretty much blanked on here by them.

But to be honest I reckon a few of them actually think there s.hit doesnt stink and they only seem to converse with there fellow premium members. I started what I thought was a pretty decent and optimistic thread the other week and I can assure you if the topic starter of that thread had BigMick or Ciggy in it's name everybody and there dog would of posted back in reply,and a good thread would of got under way. Yes there are cleeks around here

and this doesnt help, and it is true alot of tripe gets posted up by newbies and what not, but the more longer standing residents of this place should stand up and be counted for.

Woolly, Woof, Ciggy, BigMick, , John Craig, both Ace's, Pablo Escobar, taff,PeeWee, Scott B and all the usual suspects where are ya when the forum actually needs you ?

john craig writes some of the most thought provoking posts on here.......

as for barrybelfast he never did me any harm either...

red37 but when the voice is one like barrybelfasts im glad hes gone.

not sure why roberts doesnt like john craig. id put him in the big mick st mike bracket meself but roberts does have a few enemies on here which often keeps me amused.
