As the title suggests, where have all the regular posters gone??. I mean they post here but not often as they used to do.

We have alot of new members, which can only be good for here, but whats changed??, or am i walking around with bliners on!!

Taff has re-emerged (good), ciggy doesnt post as much (??), ckay used to be here all the time, lee j has been threatened off here (so im told) - what the heck is going on?

its alot less fun now

whats your views, any answers

every time i log in and go to latest posts there is just more cack from roberts. he should take the old paisley view. "if you shout people dont listen, if you whisper then people try harder to listen to you"

take that on board roberts, too much is not a good thing

i might leave this place for a while too over the summer, recuperate as sometimes its abit much but judge, me and u post more than most on here but i think we contribute greatly sometimes lol

I could'nt agree more. I dont post as often as I used to. I come on to read any new posts and the most of them are as load of waffle by Roberts. I have nothing against the fella (some of his post are quite funny!!) but any time theres a thread started that looks interesting, it finishes up ruined by him. There are also a lot of meaningless threads started by him. (on the 1st page of the forum there are 8 threads started by him, only one was a good one.) I know hes been a member for a long time and he thinks hes a bit of legend, but now its a bit much.
I know I risk the wrath of Roberts saying this, but its borning now and I dont really care. Long standing members are not posting any more and I am not saying its Roberts fault, but there are only a few interesting posters now, Judge, woolly, dawson, peewee and paul c etc.....
Come on, bring the old site back. Let the newbies see what a great site this is instead of them wondering what the hell they joined for...................

A few of us discussed this on the third page of the quetions thread. Judge, I know you think I've turned into a spammer, and I think you may be right in many ways, but that relates precisely to this problem. When I used to get on here there would thoughtful debates and discussions everywhere. Now there's a lot of junk and the same subjects over and over again, surrounded and entwined with people trying to start on each other (which is the most stoopid thing in the world imho. What are you gonna do, ask someone to step offline?). What's more, to reitterate my views from the other thread, I'm fed up with trying to change it because when I post soething thoughtful, people just take it over and start e-shouting at each other and by the end of it, there is rarely a mention of the original subject, so what's the point? That's why I spend a lot of my e-time in gen. chat because a lot of the gimps haven't found it yet (although there's been a lot of tension here too recently) posting in chains and funny stuff.

I can promise you it will only get worse in the summer. Might not be as bad this year with the World Cup on but you will see an influx of newbies starting new threads in The Rumour Mill a lot.

Some lad will have a good game for the Ivory Coast and you'll get bellends logging on saying:

"Shll we sin him or wot? lol"

It's the end of the season. No panic. Take a break and enjoy the Sun. It'll all kick off again come August.

Look dont be fucking blaming me again for people not posting, Im sick of getting the blame everytime something goes wrong on here, ive been here a lot longer than a lot of you and its never stopped people from posting before.
I respect other members tripe on here, so take it on board Peewee and Kazza :sleep

in all honesty this is still by far the best forum on football ive ever been on. i sometimes go on onecalled in the know. its where the so called hooligans go and its basically just a bnp springboard, tis disgraceful. then theres blue kipper and the chelsea sites which are so biased its scary.

this part of the forum is meant to be fun so the spam by roberts (and yes, i have staretd a few threads meself in here) cant be blamed as this isnt in the football part. its mainly down to the non stop rumours (which we now have a rumour thread for) and the newbies who dont read the rules 9but mostly when they do its all sortde)

this time of the year there is more rubbisht han usual and jonny is right, come summer it will become even worse and i can see some of us taking short sabbaticals instead. But just remember, this isnt a bad site, there is no hardcore porn (sorry if u like it but apparently it can be found elsewhere on the net0 and we are not: racist, sexist (my posts are meant as jokes to the shankly gal who hates me lol) or any other kind of ist so its not all bad

it's true. this place quite boring right now compared when i first joined. Maybe because regular poster stay away from this place. Why?? Only regular and senior poster know the answer. Coz u all 'govern' this forum not newbies or not so newbies. Anyaway I think this place will be back to normal when next season start.
