This could be the problem. out of town supporters don't like to chant because they lack the scousce accent, and if the scouscers aren't chanting they are going to look like idiots if they don't. At the same time all the liverpudlians blame the out of town supporters.

I don't want to appear like a ooter basher, but the aways are the best, all scouse lads, get on the party bus from The Rocket.  Great days out.

I see people nowadays at the match, going to get something to eat during the game, carrying hotdogs and popcorn.  They must think they are the pictures.  And Liverpool do give priority to ooters and stupid supporters clubs, although they seem to spend a lot of money of merchandise.

Loads are only interested in big games, for me, it's full time or none of the time.  None of this part time supporting.  The whole game is being diluted by marketing & greed, it's moving away from it's working class roots.  For instance I was listening to the football phone in on Radio City, and somebody was complaining about the language at the match, and how his son was exposed to it.  That's what football is about for me, passion.  I think a football ground is a place were people can let themselves go, and get rid of their anger, saves them unloading it on their partners.  I'm not condoning violent behavior though.

I really struggle for tickets, and it's not that I don't the money to go, it's that I cannot get the tickets.  What winds me up is that scousers are sweating on tickets, queuing for 3 hours to get them with your fancard in hand.  Then you speak to people in the ground whose first game of the season is Manchester United and they never had to queue for their ticket, because you guessed it, they are a member of the <insert the name of a shitty town> supporters club.

Ok Mark I can see where your coming from with your views and opinions fair enough.

But whats all this about, are you trying to tell us that you bash your partner and to prevent this you and thousands of blokes go to the footy every weekend as some kind of anger management plan.

If so, I would suggest you to seek proffesional help, then that not only do you free up loads of seats for "real" supporter's you personally benefit from this by seeking the proper guidence you apparently need.

WTF

You have missed my point completely.  And why do you say that if I seek professional help it will free up seats for 'real supporters'.  How aren't I a real fan, I am a scouser who attends about 17 games a season, I don't know what more I have to do to be a 'real fan'.

Do you think you are a better fan than me, becuase you buy all the merchandise & watch the games on a shitty internet stream from a dodgy arab website.

We both support Liverpool at the end of the day.

Hi Bamaga Man,

You are on this forum as I write this, so I presume you don't have a reply to what I just said, although you will probably argue that you can't be bothered continuing this thread whilst you sit at your computer surrounded by your merchandise trying to convince yourself you really are a fan, whilst your local club goes into administration.

Another thread descending into an us and them arguement.....who sings the most ...who wears all the merchandise...I can't get a ticket because blah blah....

Fact ....most season ticket holders have had their season tickets for a long time, creating a long waiting list.Majority of season ticket holders from the surrounding areas of Merseyside. This majority hardly ever sing but will wear a few items of merchandise between them.
Every Liverpool fan who purchases a fan card has the chance of getting tickets, where ever you live, but you have to be persistent and not sit on your fat :censored: hoping it will happen...make it happen.Build your portfollio of games..league cup,fa cup, european games, league games etc.The more games you attend the more chance you have of getting tickets and so and so on.There is no hidden agenda that ooters get priority...perhaps their dedication and distance drives them to try harder.

By the way I am not an ooter,I just feel it too easy to blame someone else when the going gets tough.

p.s I need a ticket for the cup final because my soft- :censored: brother didn't use my fan card no. to get a semi ticket. He thinks it's funny, but when I came back from my jolly hols I was not impressed.
THERE'S A GREAT BIG BEAUTIFUL TOMORROW SHINING AT THE END OF EVERY DAY.
THERE'S A GREAT BIG BEAUTIFUL TOMORROW AND TOMORROW IS JUST A DREAM AWAY.

im not a scouser. im from widnes... but i tell this, id give up food, sex and me right arm to stand in the kop with you lads and make as much din as i could..(not sure about giving up ale tho)  :D

there is a lot of ooters/woolly's talk around our club most of the time and surely not ALL of 'em are bad for the 'perceived' view of what the real fan should look and sound like....  ???

there must be hundreds of lads on here in the same boat....

I hate all this nonsense about people who aren't Scouse supporting Liverpool, f*cking frustrates the hell out of me. Most people ( so it seem's ) have adopted this attitude, the same theory could be brought up for players, but then what would happen, we wouldn't have foreign players who have the flair, talent and skill to win us matches.

In fact, it totally and utterly baffles me why a true supporter wouldn't want foreign and global support!

I'd give anything to be able to go to every single Liverpool match in a season, I buy every kit, top and any other merchandise I can ( and like ), I ACTUALLY DEFEND SCOUSE PEOPLE IN ARGUMENTS WHEN THEY ARE HAVING THE BACK RIPPED OUT OF THEM, I'm from Belfast, and I surely the f*ck am no less passionate about Liverpool than those lucky b*stards standing in the Kop week in, week out. FACT.

Well apparently us Irish fans don't have a clue about football, shouldn't support the club and are 'plastic fans'.  That seems to be the view of a few of the more established Scouse posters recently, you know who you are, its pathetic.

There are people on this forum that know next to nothing about the game, have clearly never played it to any sort of level and to be honest when you scratch the surface don't really know that much about their beloved 'home town club'.  Scouse people who go to the games week in week out are the proper fans and obviously have more of an affinity with the club than someone like myself who can only make it to a few games per season, but I don't accept the whole 'I'm scouse so I have more of a right to support the club than you' to.ssers on this site, many of whom probably don't even go  to Anfield as regularly as me despite living down the road from it.

To be honest I'm considering giving this site a miss from now on.  It's gone so far down hill now it's not even funny.  It's now a place where clueless spam-merchants have some kind of cult status and decent knowledgeable posters are few and far between.

It honestly is a joke to think that ever foreign supporter is a 'plastic fan'. It's a selfish approach on the part's of those who believe in that theory, if it wasn't for foreign and global support the club wouldn't be half of what it is now. Football club's need money to survive, support is probably the biggest form of financial income to the club, so why wouldn't anyone want people from all over the world to help out?

I thought having support from everywhere would be something to be proud of, apparently not!
