Come on Charlton, do it for Curbs!
:buttrock
It's not out of the question that Charlton could give him a great sign-off.  He deserves it.  You've got to think we can beat Portsmouth (maybe Harry will tell them to help us out  :D  )

It could be tense!

Now.. I am not being pessimistic here. But I think Charlton will lose to manu. They have lost their manager so I do not think they have the will and heart to battle this out.

Cant see United dropping points against Charlton in a must win game really....although we couldnt break them down this is the type of game were we need to hope for no goals in the first half hour for either side imo.
If united score early they will win convincingly, if Charlton score in the first hald to go 1 up then United will throw the kitchen sink at them and they will buckle resulting in a 3-1 or even 4-1 win for the scummers.
If charlton can just frustrate them until half time the crowd will be on there backs again, after the last two 0-0 draws at home and they will struggle to make the breakthrough.
Thats my theory anyway  :D

The pompey game for us i expect a win, not as comfortable as most are predicting but a 2-0 or 2-1. Pompey will be ecstatic at staying up and may take there foot off the pedal a bit, but they are at home and will want to give there fans a decent send off so i expect a tighter game that most are predicting.

As previously mentioned this is really a nothing game as I can't see any conceivable way that the mancs won't beat Charlton.

For me all the squad players must play this as we should be able to win anyway.

                                    Dudek

            Finnan       Hyypia      Agger       Warnock

           Kromkamp   Hamman    Sissoko     Cisse

                          Morientes    Fowler

Cisse did quite well in that position against West Ham so I'd be tempted to keep him there. I don't see the likes of Carragher, Alonso, Gerrard and Crouch being risked with the Cup Final just around the corner.

My thoughts are firmly fixed on May 13th and those happy Hammers
