Manager vacuum - Next season will be very different.

The Premiership - General Discussion

Postby The Ace1983 » Sat Apr 29, 2006 5:19 pm

There's gonna be one hell of a shift in managerial roles over the summer with vacant posts at Charlton, Newcastle and England. I've just been thinking about the whole thing and it could get really interesting. Say Big Sam goes to Geordieland, McClaren gets the England job and Pardew leave West Ham for his old club Charlton, with Stuart Pearce going to Bolton, Alan Curbishly taking the helm at Man City, and Glenn Roeder getting the job at the Riverside.

And that's just one possibility. The prem will look a very different league come September, you mark my words.

Good call Ace seeing as Curbs has just quit Charlton!

Oh, and the rumours are starting to swirl that Mourinho's packing it in, based on his post-match moan today.  Awww, the wittle baby hasn't won manager of the month enough and gets no respect!  Feck off back to Portugal then you egotistical gobsh!te!

If Chelseas had any brains they would pack him off quicksmart
Whatever his talent, he is now damaged goods in the hearts and minds war and in this day of image is everything. Maureen has become a very large liability

I think it will go a little something like this

Alan Curbishley-Charlton Athletic to Newcastle United

Steve McClaren-Middlesbrough to England

Alex McLeish-Rangers to Middlesbrough

From Shankly to Brendan we follow our team, Rome to Istanbul we've all lived the dream. Our journey is long, our goal stays the same, to keep for our children the famous red name.

Charlton could always get Luis Felipe Scolari as coach or Sven Goran Eriksson is always free.

With that failing theres always Carlton Palmer
