It can't be Fowlers last game at Anfield. I know Rafa can be roofless, but even he would have shown him some sentiment and started him if it was his last. I think that could be an indication that his looking to keep hold of him. :blues:

A decent half...good control but we need to move up a gear or two.

Great pass from Xabi and a touch of class from Nando (!) for the goal!

Carra and Sami have been immense as usual.

I'm not suggesting we haul anyone off yet, but I think the team could use some spark. I'd give it a few minutes and if things keep on like this I'd bring Momo into the centre and put Gerrard on the right. I'd also like to see Robbie come on at about the 65 minute mark.

Come on lads, we need goals as well as wins to catch the Mancs!

Ideally to score at least 4 goals in this match would increase our chances to of closing the goal difference gap should the points tally become equal at the end of season.

Man U = 34 +
L'Pool = 29 +
