Barcelona have put Ludovic Giuly's future on hold until after the UEFA Champions League final after revealing they have fielded no official enquiries from Liverpool.
The current European champions have been linked with a summer swoop for Giuly, who is not a regular starter at Camp Nou.
Giuly admits he has not had any contact with Reds boss Rafa Benitez, but conceded he has offers for next season.
But the midfielder's primary target is to secure an extension to his Barcelona contract, which expires in just over 12 months.
The Spanish champions-elect are concerned by the transfer rumours, but do not plan to discuss anything until after the Champions League final against Arsenal on May 17.
"Sincerely, we do not know anything about this question," said Barcelona's sport director Txiki Beguiristain.
"Officially, The Reds have not contacted us and I believe the quotes of our player saying that he has received a proposition.
"I am worried by these things, but it is normal that all the players of Barca have great offers for next season.
"This subject is on stand-by until after the final in Paris against Arsenal."
