heskey did play well for the last couple of games but its the same every year he plays well for a few games scores one or two goals then people are giving interviews saying he has turned into a goalscorer and just has to keep his confidence up blah blah blah, he's either a goalscorer or not n i think not, he leaves too much pressure on owen as defenders know that if heskey gets a sight of goal he wont shoot, cisse will really take the burden off owen by banging in loads of goals! i would definitely sell heskey he was a good signing and has repaid us with his workhorse efforts n during the treble season he was very good but its time to move on, we have baros pongolle mellor to come in who will all be looking to improve on this season and show what they are capable of, they are all goalscorers heskeys not im afraid!

diouf was good and really excited me when he signed but is not a goalscorer and thats why i believe houllier moved him wide right cos he runs at defenders a lot but he just hasnt seemed bothered that much and if we could get a few quid for him then sell him, i think if we get cisse and mexes we should really try to break the bank for a great right midfielder, especially if we have agood transfer kitty!

Ice-Man , you've made some positive points about both players ability. Surely the negative points are something that the coaching staff should have addressed ?
I'm not picking either player as first eleven but worth a place in our squad.:)

traore isn't a decent backup player, hes a poor player and defender

and as for ****** wenger signings, sorry hes not made as many mistakes as houllier, think about the signings, pires, henry, reyes, bergkamp, wiltord, campbell, toure, clichy, when you put them against houlliers signings, you see that houllier is by far the worse picker of p layers

Heskey and diouf have to go as both have proved over the last 2 seasons that they just are not good enough.
They are both on 40k+ a week and are not worth a fraction.
We have far too many players in the same boat on huge wages and delivering little other than making up the numbers.
I am not advocating a huge clearout but 4 or 5 just have to go.It is obvious houllier just cannot get the best out of what he has got and he is a nightmare with large sums of cash.
His 2 biggest buys see above.
Smith to Shankly:My thigh is a bit sore, but I think I could play.
Shankly to Fagan:Tell him,Joe.He has got no chance of playing.
Smith to Fagan:Tell him to sod off.It is not his leg,it's mine.
Shankly to Smith:Oh no son.You are wrong, son. It is not your leg.
It is Liverpool Football Club's leg.
