Thats some win away to Villareal as well, did they rest any key players for the champions league semi sabre ?
Has anyone got a link with the goal, or will i have to wait and watch revista la liga ?

His long distance goal was amazing.... we might finally have somebody who can score a lot of goals from set pieces. That is something we have been lacking unfortunately. I can just picture him and Kewell combining down the left and causing all kinds of havoc! Good stuff... good stuff.

He has danger everytime he shoots from that distance, and yes as Columbia and I already stated, they saved 9 key players to play against us.

Answering to bad bob, no there's no chance you can see Josemi playing against Arsenal, he's having very very few minutes there.

To be honest, I doubt whether they would both be in the same team.

Once upon a time, there was a Chilean player that was making good stuff in the Segunda Division. He was doing so well, that Atlético de Madrid tried to sign him up. But the guy was injured, and Atlético looked somewhere ese. A smart coach in Liverpool though, did rely on Mark and signed him up. And since the DoE wouldn't allow to play, he went to Real Sociedad on loan, where he made great things.

And Atletico Madrid wants him now :D can you believe what a bunch of fúckwits they are? that's not all, they want him on loand, but "Until December wouldn't be good enough, we want him the whole season". Dream on you bástards.

Source: http://www.as.com/articul....Tes DO translate it with babelfish, but I wouldn't bother, the story in a nutshell is the one I told you.

Good news about this cráp is that Mark hasn't played a bloody minute with Liverpool, and his value has increased a lot already! :)

Hi guys!! Mark Gonzalez has never played in Segunda Division in Spain, when he got transferred from Universidad Catolica to Albacete Balonpie they were still in Primera Division, then they got relegated and before this happened Liverpool among other clubs had shown interest for him, Liverpool beeing the club of his dream he said would be a perfect place for him to go to and then the injury occurred and the rest well we know it, but he never played in the Segunda...:)

Mark Gonzalez is ready to resist overtures from several Spanish clubs to move to Liverpool.

Liverpool signed the highly-rated winger from Albacete last summer, but he was unable to move to Anfield because he could not get a work permit.

Gonzalez returned to Spain on a loan move to Real Sociedad during the January transfer window as Liverpool looked for him to get regular first team football.

The 21-year-old has impressed at Sociedad and his performances have alerted the likes of Deportivo La Coruna, Real Betis and Real Zaragoza.

However, Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is determined to win a work permit for him so that he can make the move to Merseyside next season.

Gonzalez insists his first option is to move to Liverpool next season despite interest from other clubs.

"I want to play there (Liverpool), " said Gonzalez.

"One must remain calm and I am not going to be affected (by speculation).

"To me nothing has been proposed and anything would only come to my representative.

"But everything that is in the newspapers is only rumours."

Nice to see some loyalty, and even nicer to see other clubs want him too. The boy sounds batter every time I hear about him.

I dont understand how our government can let any old Tom dick and Harry in the country. Yet when someone like Gonzalez who is gonna be a legitimate tax payer and a 40% tax payer at that, then why the he.ll do they turn it down?

Speedy will now start to grab the attention of Europes top clubs and IF they (government) were to decline him a permit again, you wouldnt blame him at looking else where. It is good to see he's quick to shut the rumours down and show loyalty to the club.

But ffs Blair or whoever sort it out

too right  :(

its a massive gamble though by the authorities, i mean the lad could well be part of a terrorist splinter cell looking to set up a base in liverpool....or an underground organisation thats sole purpose is to sell bottles of fake perma-tan at away grounds... :lookaround   jeez!  the very thought of him being a potential world reknowned star on the football pitch must be a very difficult decision to foresee. and who can blame tony B and his 'gumps' for erring on the side of caution...

now exactly how many names are on that sex offenders list mr blair ....   ???

It's a daft ruling but can't see him not now being allowed into the country!

If things do turn out for the worse and we can't get him a work permit then look on the bright side....we will get a f*ck load more cash that we paid for him after his performances this season!!
