Mark, Liverpool football club would not exist if it was just made up of a scouser fanbase and no one else. The simple fact is people support a club that they feel a bond and connection to, simple as. You do get fans who jump from club to club but we all have to start supporting a team somewhere along the line.

So, unless you're from Liverpool you're not a true fan and only a gloryhunter?  Come on!

I support the team...have done since 2002...which is no easy task when you live in Canada.  I've never been to a match and have to rely on televised feeds and web-casts yet I still consider myself a true fan.

Maybe you think different.  Maybe you think I'm not a true fan because I'm not Scouse and don't get to Anfield.  If that's your opinion, mate, you're entitled to it.  But know this--if your wish is to have only true Scousers support Liverpool at the ground and on boards like this, then a lot of people who you've come to think of as true supporters would disappear and both places would be the poorer for it.

I am refering to people who I see at the match now and again, and they only go to the big games.  I understand you living in Canada and the fact you can't go the game.

My biggest complain is scousers who only seem to come out when we are winning something.  I don't care about woolybacks and foreigners, they just buy the merchandise and contribute that way, that's all they are good for.

An example of this would be last season while I was watching the :censored: 0-0 draw with Balckburn, when I heard 2 woolybacks talking to one another, one of them was going to give his season ticket to his mate for the season (obviously for money) because he didn't think we would win anything, :censored:
