Let the thai guy have it. it can only be good

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

i too would not mind having the thai guy invest in our club. the main reason is that in the long term more money will be generated with his investment then steve morgan.  it will be a great investment to open a market in asia and if we could get the asia people to start supporting liverpool, which with this offer, then the majoority will probably do, then alot of money can be generated into the club specially within the next couple of years.

i know everyone wants steve morgan because hes a liverpool fan but remenber this is not a takeover bid by the thai guy its just 30 percent and the club wil still be moores. and most importantly still ran by a liverpool fan through and through.

wat i understand is that by accepting the thai offer we will be entering the asia market and within a couple of years if not straight away be the number 1 supported team in asia, which can only be good for the club, nowadays clubs needs all the moneys they can get so why not get it from asia?

The asian market is all well and good but the thing that worries me is the alleged human rights violations that this thai guy is mixed up in. I guess its all just money money now tho which is alittle sad but needed in todays market

LFC are BIG in Asia. The true fans there have always been pool's fans. Mancs are big now coz their success in recent years. Now more and more ****** convert can be seen on the streets of Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand etc. Wondered what happened to those so called Blackburn fans from a few years back...? Guessed their latest flavour come from the ******

My only hope is for the club to make full use of the new fundings and build from there. The last Granada's investment were wasted by GH. Now how about Morgan buying out Moores share?

One thing I have learned from takeover bids is that things change. In most cases top managment changes. This means that we will most likely have a new manager next year.

Since we got 4th spot Houllier can walk away with his pride intact. He should do this, because the pressure this year would be nothing compared to what he will face next year if Liverpool don't improve.
If football is banned in heaven. I'd rather go to hell.

Foolier won't walk. He's got us into the CL. He'll stay if only to have another crack at it.
However what happens with him at the end of next season shoild prove very interesting . (if he lasts that long )
