CHELSEA VS LIVERPOOL FA CUP SEMI - Can you smell the fear?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Nice one Laza, the realities are there for all to see when it comes to players and lets be honest LFC are nowhere near as strong as Chelsea in terms of squad size or pedigree. Alonso and Gerard would walk into their first team but after that your struggling.

But what Chelsea cannot compete with is the heart and passion of the Liverpool Players and supporters. We were mighty today, stood tall and were counted.

Chelsea were weighed in the balance and found wanting ...............

Until they socred they neither competed or matched the Liverpool pace and gameplay. We gifted them a goal out of nothing but should have been 4 up by that time. For all their Roubles and the media's love affair with Mourinho they don't demonstrate to me whats needed to be considered a truly great team and thats not measured in trophies (although Liverpool have a few on that score) but the way you conduct yourselves and in that area Chelsea are lacking in all areas. The refusal of Mourinho to shake Benitez's hand and the sulkiness of many of their players who did likewise was indicitive of their sulky mentality. I've been on the KOP and applauded Benfica NOT years ago but this season when they deserveadly beat us. What did Barca get for their win off Chelsea ? Recriminations and bitchiness from the Prince Of Moan himself, play acting by his players and bottles and coins for company from the Chelsea Fans.

Premiership Champions they may be but in the class and dignity stakes their relegation fodder  ???

I saw the game on BBC and damn... what a performance, excellent atmosphere and best of all: Mourinho's face after the last whistle, priceless  :D
I'm kinda hoping West Ham don't make it, since I support them as well and don't want to choose between Liverpool or them  :p

Eat that you cockney chav b*stards.
Eat that Moris, you f*cking moaning sack of W*nk.
Eat that Roman, you f*cking thick-looking tw*t.
Eat that Fat Frank, you spherical turd.
Eat that Robben, you diving Dutch c*nt.
Eat that Essien, you dirty, scruffy pr*ck.
Eat that Cole, you ugly little sh*tstabber.

EAT THAT, SH*TSKI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a performance from our lads! F*cking Kewell - THAT's what we bought him for! Tore the scrubbers to pieces like no other player has. Not even Messi got past his marker asmany times as our Harry.

Reina - f*cking superb to keep his concentration after Riise had cocked up. How can anyone blame Pepe for that!?! He was right to go for it, and had he got there 1/10th of a second earlier, we'd have won 2-0.

Sami and JC - You f*cking wish you had these two don't you Moris, you f*cking bulldog-looking c*nt?

Finnan - Infallable.

Riise - Cracking game, but for the slight error which led to the dirty w*nkers scoring.

Xabi - Fantastic.

Momo - Eat it, Makalele, you old-timer tw*t.

Stevie G - Magnificent.

Garcia - WHAT A FINISH!!!!! Could have had a hat-trick before that though.

Crouch - Job's a good 'un, young man!

Kewell (again) - F*CKING AWESOME!

Mori - Cracking tackle lad!

Cisse - Nothing much.

Traore - Helped out.

Rafa - BRILLIANT ONCE AGAIN!!!!! ANother jab in the eye of Moris' money-driven optic. A master class in tactics for the sweaty, slimey Portugese b*stard.

Jose Mourihno said that "it is difficult in a semi-final game when we missed chances and we did not get decisions."

He further clais that Liverpool's first goal was a decision on a freekick that should not have been given and there was the decision against Terry's headed effort when there was no infringement by Terry.

What a sour grapes of a guy! He said that Chelsea lost to Barcelona at Stamford Bridge was "not an 11-versus-11 match but a 10-versus-11 match" and it can only fairly be commented if it were an even match. When his team get beat, to him it is because of the missed chances or refereeing decision. The only opponent he acknowledges somewhat are only the ones he considers as no threat to Chelsea and him.

He did rather praise Boro, but never Liverpool or Barca, both teams who beat his team fair and square.

Talk about no class and no grace at all...

What makes me laugh the hardest is all the talk in the press that we have only beaten them twice in the last 10 games. I'll take knocking them out of the CL and FA cup any day... Blue scum

This is the opening paragraph of the Guardian on line report:
If Rafa Benitez becomes any more popular with Liverpool fans Anfield will soon be getting an extra statue and pair of gates. The Merseyside contingent thoroughly enjoyed rocking Old Trafford with their 'La Bamba'-Benitez chant as goals from John Arne Riise and Luis Garcia denied Chelsea their chance of a Double and earned Liverpool a thirteenth FA Cup final appearance.

Rafa statue and Benitez Gates, may yet be a possibility...

captain steven:

"I give him a rollocking for missing that chance at half-time but that's Luis. We don't want to give him easy chances because he doesn't seem to score them. He just scores the impossible ones. :)

WOO!! 2-1!!! That was a fantastic win, absolutely dominated them for first 65 mins til the 2 subs..shown that we can more than match chelsea, we were fantastic and for long periods in that match looked like a premiership winning team..

Kewell MOM, looked like the kewell of old today, he was really class, consistantly beat his man and put in the cross, we really exploited their weakness using kewell for most of our attack against geremi and ferreira playing out of position. We looked so comfortable until their goal and were doing everything superbly.  That garcia goal was a beauty, he was frustrating me beforehand with his losing possession and missing easy shots, he always seems to miss the tap ins doesnt he, but he always seems to make up for it with these special goals, hes probably one of our best finishers.

Im not surprised we were dominated after they scored, they threw everything forward after that, near the end they had 2 at the back!, we had to just defend and try and counter attack. The defending bit worked but there was no counter attack whatsoever, im not surprised with cisse being the target man. Also they threw on their 3 subs in the 2nd half who happened to be 3 of their most effective players and were fully energised and ready to run us ragged.

We've probably got the strongest midfield in the prem and one of the strongest defences so we just need to sort out our attack mostly. I think the whole prem including chelsea should fear us after that performance, with the right players brought in we could easily be the strongest force in the prem.

VERY optimistic after that performance.. YNWA

I am in heaven. What is all the more pleasing is Jose's inability to give credit where credit is due. We played a tight game, especailly in the first half.

Gotta agree with comments on Kewell, he was immense. Jose wanted to keep our midfield quite, and to a certain extent he did keep SG and Alonso quite, but its impossible to stop Momo. I love the fact that he went to try and hold our midfield, but it backfired because out wide Kewell decided to have a blinder. I lost count of the amount of times he stepped around, or out paced his marker.

So fricking happy. Thank you Rafa and the mighty Red Men.  :buttrock

That goes to show you how stupid and fickle those so called "Chelsea fans" are...

They lost one match so what?

Those bunch of :censored:'ng posers. They're not gonna win everything...

(Just look at Chelsea's miserly trophy cabinet and compare it to Liverpool's silver Fort Knox.)

I know for a fact that they arent a minority. (seriously, before Abramovich and those billion dollar signings came, did you guys really think Chelsea had such a huge fanbase?)

I hate it when people jump on the bandwagon claiming themselves to be supporters of some club just because the club won the league or has fashionable players.

Mourinho's a pompous, antagonistic little whore but we know whether we like it or not that he is capable of managing a club.

When we win the league next year I hope those b'owjobbing little fuc'ks dont go about wearing red on their backs.

They arent even fit to be called football fans.
