Heres a thought:

                    Reina
Finnan     Hyppia     Carra     Riise

                    Hamman
          Alonso          Sissoko
     Gerrard                    Kewell
                    Crouch

What dya think? gerrad able to tuck back in when things are tight, and bombing and exposing 'del horno' is isnt that great, and supporting crouch n kewell when were on the attack? hamann doing the makele role and sissoko kickin lampard n essien, and alonso dictating the play? ??? I would be happy with this formation!

i agree exactly with the sentiments. Gerrard can outplay Lampard due to having a more complete and more physical game in comparison to Lampard.

May depend how those around him (Lampard) play i.e would you have Gerrard on the right wing or have him cut in into the path of Makalale. Tough choice as i ould consider him more effective when he cuts inside.

dont be afraid of the blues man, its only natural that we should be the ones to beat them. after all our record maybe poor but the heart is big and we've finally being scoring goals so lets stay positive about this:blues:

Some interesting odds on Ladbrokes...

Liverpool to win - 11-5
Liverpool to win 1-0 - 8-1
Liverpool to keep a clean sheet - 11/5
Gerrard to score from outside the area - 16-1
Alonso to score first goal - 20-1
Riise to score first goal - 20-1
Hyypia to score first goal - 33-1
Sami to score the only goal in a 1-0 win - 150-1

Have taken them up at a few of those. :D
