Realistically there is no chance of us getting SWP, so I don't know why fans keep mentioning him.

Of course Gonzalez plays on the left wing, I thought that was a known fact.

It's a cracking volley isn't it?, I nearly exploded when he scored. Prieto touched with the heel to avoid 2 defenders(good game, btw), Rekarte crossed, the defence tried to clear but the ball went loose, and Gonzalez volleyed the ball without waiting it to bounce. The players who are nor skilled enough, either eat the ball, either they lean back and the ball goes to the clouds. But his technical gesture was perfect and sent that missile.

The Spanish commentator of the video acknowledges the great impact he's doing in the liga, and the fact that he got us another 3 points.

Well try looking at how much some of the other brilliant players have cost in their early years, or how little an impact they may have had at their previous clubs.

Here are the cr*ppy, cheap players:

Patrick Viera joined Arsenal for........... £4m. What a pile of cack HE turned out to be!

Sami Hyypia joined LFC for £2.6m. Biggest waste of money ever.

Requielm - Barcelona to Villarreal (75%) for the Princely sum of c.£3.6m. How could they justify such an extravagance!?!

Henrik Larsson to Celtic - £650k. Massively overpriced, and they regret the purchase now.

Peter Schmeichel to the Scum from Brondby - £550k. He was a right liability between the sticks.

Here are the fantastic players, owing to their transfer fees:

El Hadji Diouf. Lens to LFC £10m. Brilliant. Best player we've ever had.

Juan Sebastian Veron - Lazio to the Scum - £28.1m/Scum to Sh*tski £16m. Utterly fantastic. Words cannot describe how he took to the Premiership with such ease.

Hernan Crespo - Inter Milan to Sh*tski - £17m. Goal machine. Top scorer in Premiership history.

Didier Drogba - Marseille to Sh*ski - £24m. What a player - scores a hat-trick every match, and is the most honest man in football.

As you can see, my post is rather laden with sarcasm in much the same way you used it.

At least now you may understand that high transfer fees/values do not equal success.
