finnan is just another gamble by te boss, i think we bought the wrong man from fulham, malbranque would being the better option. good alround ability plus he likes the odd goal or two

Finnan will prove to be a class act next season. He shown glimpses this season, most notably Newcastle at home in in the cup.

He's good defensively and knows how to overlap. Two footed and a fanastic touch. His movement is also very good. He's a similar player to what Rob Jones used to be, he'll improve next season and become one of our better players.

How can you compare Malbranque and Finnan?

Finnan looks set to be a very good and reliable right back for us!

i really want us to sign malbranque. he's pure class and would get us 10-12 goals EVERY season. fulham can't afford to turn down bids for him.

good buy!! He'll only get better as well. I agree there are better right back around but the three time as much for twice as much ability.

Still early days but I think he will come good for us. At least he doesn't mind getting forward . which was something Carra never really liked to do.
Can't wait for the all the new blood to gel, really looking forward to next season already

Roll on pre season. Scum hampton will do us a favour tonight, a good run for the liverpool players in the Euro's, Kewell having a family holiday, resting his ankle and coming back fired up to win. Cisse rested after his international suspension, new faces appearing also and all looking forward to pre season games and our CL play off!!!!

im really optimistic (without being stupidly optimistic saying we will win the league) for next season i think we can get a good run in europe maybe win a domestic cup, and finish higher up the league than fourth by putting a bit of a challenge to arsenal man utd and chelski, and having the champs league spot well wrapped up with a lot of games to go!

that would be great realistic progress in my view which we are more than capable of! :cool:

finnan was a great addition to our squad. another who suffered with injury but he will perform next season

Finnan was a good buy i think and will be much better next season (as above) same can be said for kewell.
I though he had a bad season (injuries,etc) but he'll be great next season
and will surprise many with his ability as will kewell,diouf and heskey (if they are here).
