I am probably one of Cisse's biggest fans and I definitely want him to continue playing for LFC.
In think if he starts 75% of our remaining games, including the game against Chelsea then we will see how good he really is.

If he continues his good form like against WBA then I think he should stay.

There's one potential buyer out there who I'm sure we could convince to pay a hefty fee for Djibril...

Stand up and be counted Houllier--you broke the bank for him once...time to ante up again!  :D

(Hell, maybe we could throw in Diao and 'Zinedine Cheyrou' to sweeten the pot for him!)

HaHa, i never thought of that! Though Cisse would be a good signing for Lyon or even Newcastle in the event of Houllier ending up there!  Maybe he could take Traore as well and partner him with Boumsong!!  Questions should have been asked of Houllier as soon as he showed interest in Salif Diao, and even further questions about the logic in paying £10 million for an unproven forward and letting a proven forward (Nicolas Anelka) go.. and of course, to label a young player (Cheyrou) the new Zidane is bound to back-fire and put great pressure on a player who could have done without it.
Those mistakes effectively cost Houllier his job.  Top managers can and have made huge mistakes i.e. Wenger and Ferguson have made numerous but they have been able to get away with it because thay have premiership titles and more so in Ferguson's case, bigger financial capabilities.
Houllier took silly risks in a season were he had to do something big to save his job... the likes of Robbie Keane should have been purchased back then.[B]

not been in for the last few days but as one of the last bastions for supoorting cisse i thought id say something. The guy is scoring goals, making goals and when playing in his right position is making things happen.
I know he wont be here next season but im just glad hes getting some good games under his belt finall

hate to see it happen but Cisse would be fantastic for Lyon.  If they can get him for £7m i wouldnt be suprised if they went in for him.

Cisse would do great in that team..

Cisse is a lot better than Fred. Also, John Carew is a load of trash!

Keep Cisse.

I'm pretty sure Rafa would have helped him get better on all aspects of his game before next season starts.

I think that Rafa is working on aspects of Cisse's game, but as has been mentioned he had just recovered from that injury by the end of last season.  Although Cisse has had his moments on the right (where Benitez seems to prefer to play him) again, i think he should be given a sustained run as centre forward.[B]

To be honest, I think Cisse has shown a massive improvement in not only his playing, but his attitude in the last month and a half or so. I think he's beggining to play the football I know he can play and he's maybe, just maybe done enough to warrent a longer stay with us.

I am pretty sure cisse won't be here next season. The best we can do is give him a run of the games till the end of the season (cos he seems to be on-form at the moment) and hope he has an awesome world cup.

Then less him for > 8 million pounds.

Thats the best senario i can think for cisse.....cos rafa simply doesn't rate him.

Defoe has started 18 games this season.  He started the 1st 14.  His goal return is poor for the amount of games his played
