i've got an ipod video and i want to rip my music DVD's onto it...anyone know how??

Since this is a similar type of thread, is there a way to extract the music/sound from a video and then use it as a music file? Or just sort or convert the video so it loses the picture and just has the music?

Or should I try again in 10 years?

More than likely.I'm sure you can do stuff like that with various versions of cakewalk.If you go on the torrent sites you might be able to download a copy,because in the shops it can be quite expensive........
