I personally still think 2nd could happen, Man Utd have two crucial games coming up - Arsenal at Old Trafford and Chesea at Stamford bridge. A defeat in both is a possiblity. Assuming we win our games and they win their game in hand that leaves with 2 points to make up before the end of the season.
Now i'm not saying its clear cut but at least its a possibility.

BIG-MATCH FACTS
LIVERPOOL against Bolton is a north west derby between two clubs pursuing European qualification. But while the Champions League seeking Reds are vying for a fifth successive Premiership victory, the Uefa Cup chasing Trotters are battling to avoid a fourth consecutive top flight loss.
Rafael Benitez' side go into the weekend in third place, five points behind Manchester United immediately above them and 12 ahead of fourth placed Tottenham. They're unbeaten in 14 League outings at Anfield, and have only conceded more than a single goal in one home Premiership match this season (the 1-4 defeat by Chelsea on 2 October). With five matches to play, the Merseysiders already have more points than they've totalled in five of the last 10 seasons when the top League has been contested over 38 games. But the FA Cup remains their only chance of silverware. However they'll have to get past Chelsea in the semi-final on Saturday, 22 April.
The Reds are unbeaten at home to Bolton in the Premiership (five wins, and one draw) and have not lost a home League fixture to the Trotters in 52 years. They've won their last three at Anfield against Wanderers, including last season's equivalent fixture when an 86th minute header from Igor Biscan stole all three points.
