LIVERPOOL VS BOLTON - A tough game

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Reina

       Finnan            Carra         Hyypia       Riise

      Gerrard           Sissoko       Alonso        Kewell

                        Crouch

                                       Fowler

A win for us, Gerrard will be raring to go, I don't think Cisse will figure as Bolton will sit back away from home, Moro will probably replace Fowler, or vice-versa

Bolton are a sh!t dull side who'll employ Boro type tactics on their visit to Anfield,
therefore my formation would be:

                                    Reina

   Finnan*                                                        Riise*

                    Garcia        Gerrard       Kewell

         Cisse          Fowler         Morrientes      Crouch

* both fullbacks to support the attack throughout the match.  :D

I can see why you've questioned my formation, I've only used ten players - silly me.
Really, I sould put Gerrard on the right, Momo in the centre, and Garcia should float between the midfield and front four.

Widely regarded as our toughest match remaining in the league this season, Bolton are a bit of a bogey team for us.

I'd like to think that we have learnt a lot over the last 2 seasons, and that Rafa now understands how to beat the physical style of Jabba's players*.

As long as they don't ruffle too many feathers, we should get a good 2-0 out of them.

If any of our lads aren't feeling up to a scrap, we could have a 1-0 to Bolton on our hands. Hopefully, this Bolton will not be allowed to show itself.

For me, the best team to play them is:

                                        Reina
                       JC              Sami         Agger

                                      Sissoko
Kromkamp                                                                Riise
                            Gerrard          Alonso

                              Crouch
                                               Fowler

Kewell has been looking very tired of late, and Garcia would be best suited to a super-sub role.

I'd like to see more of Kromkamp as he looks a real threat and bargain when employed as a wing-back.

This is probably the toughest of our remaining fixtures!!
I dont expect ust to loose it!Our team is playing better of late as we are virtually gauranteed 3rd place, the scum being probably just far enough ahead to stay above us and Spurs just too far behind to catch us!!
Basically the players have hardly any pressure, are confident and relaxed and this is showing on the field!!

I still dont feel it will be an easy game though but i reckon we'll do em 2-1!!

Big strong Robust are many points threw in the direction of Bolton, but they can play a bit . One game in particular I seen on Motd, they scored 3 or 4 of the best goals ive ever seen in any league game anywhere.
I think we will win it. We have a bit too much and as long as Kevin Davies keeps his elbows by his side -we should collect the points and go on unscathed.

I think we should buy kevin nolan! He's pure class and even though we're very strong in mid-field, he's certainly good enough to do a job for us! He's getting better and better every season!

We have four class central midfielders already and yet you want us to add someone else? I take it you're one of these people who is never satisfied? Alonso, Sissoko, Hamman and Gerrard, need I say more?

Nolan is a class player but we don't need him, Gerrard is 10x times the player Nolan is or can be.

3-1 for me on this one, Again think its going to be tough but our form and the fact Stevie G has had a rest should see us have a bit to much for Bolton at home.

Q Can Arsenal do us a favour and put those manc in place by giving them a hidding.:D :D
