Was talking to some lad i know yesterday and he was telling me about his night out on monday. Anyways he was telling me he was in the Revolution with one of his mates who he said was "Totally rat a$$ed to be honest" and that he was all over this girl making a fool of himself, he really thought he had a chance but it was clear to see he had no chance at all.

I mean it was getting to the point of embarassment, he was dancing like a fool and really trying to impress her wioth some outrageous and dodgy moves, i was embarrased for him so i thought i had to stop this before it gets to bad. So i decided to tell him i needed a sh!t and he told me to go the sh!tter but i knew they wasnt that bad in here so i made some story up about the aftershave man and said i would have to go to Lloyds to have one cos its nicer in there. Lucky for him he decided to come with me thus ending this total embarrasment he made of himself but for some reason i just dont feel he appriciates what i did for him.

What should i do, i did him a grand favour but he doesnt know why, should i tell him i only needed the toilet because he was making a cu*t of himself or should i just leave it so he feels like i stopped his chances of getting it on with this lass???

Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

TO be honest, Roberts described a classic "torpedo your targets" mate.

But then, that's another classic, the mate who will insist and insist, and he thinks that he's doing ok, but the girl is with this face

In your first paragraph you say a lad was teeling you about his night out, but in the 2nd paragraph you imply you were there.
Bit disjointed.

Or have I missed something?

Yes i was just copying what id been told in the 2nd and 3rd paragraphs, it did look like i was there but i was writing what id been told to right.

You have also missed something and i suggest you read the thread called "My mate is kn*b" by roberts, and then read this you might get where i am coming from then!
