Well seeing as you have no great affinity with Liverpool, and they haven't captured your heart, you could try supporting your local team.

For me, the team chooses you (a cliche, I know), but I would rather chop off my balls that support another team.

I never said we were.

I wasn't being funny with you, just merely stating what I thought may help you.

The first time I watched LFC, I knew they were for me.

If you didn't feel that, then I would suggest you look at other clubs until you do.

It doesn't have to be a successful club. It doesn't need a history. It needs to connect to you in some way.

All At Madrid works for him, that wouldn't happen in Liverpool.

He's the top scorer of At Madrid, but he throws all the penalties, he misses LOTS, as in LOTS of chances. He's overrated, and they're going to sell him before he loses value.
He dribbles decently and he's pacy yes, but what's that worth for if then you have no good finishing?

I don't see a growing player on him, he hasn't learnt much since he was 17, he's been playing for 5 years or so now, he's not a new hit, he's well known, and he's going to be the eternal promise.

I hope he doesn't go to Germany, but I'm afraid he will because it seems important to Luis to have an atletico player on the squad. I think he will be the incarnation of the nth Spain failure in the WC.

Sabre, I take it your not an Atletico fan? So getting you to say something positive about Torres would be like us saying something good about Rooney. Right?

So fúcking what? Morientes came from Real Madrid, Benitez is from Real Madrid, and Real Madrid is my archenemy. Have I slated them for that?

No. I don't like Valencia neither, and I'd love to have Villa here.

Torres is a great player but only in Primera Liga.. He can score, so can Stevie G.. He can create, so can Stevie G again.. He plays for and captained Atletico Madrid, what can I say.?. Need I say the top scorer for Liverpool too.?. IMO, Liverpool needs some creativity in midfield and Joaquin, Vicente, Morten Pedersen should be consider, or someone like Fabregas and must be better than Alonso, to anchor the midfield.. Cheers..

We already have HK, Garcia, alonso and SG but I like Morten Pedersen. He scores goals too. What I think liverpool need is that PC need to improved on his Header. If he can improved on that next season,I think he can score more that 20 goals next season.

Great players play well everywhere.
The problem for Torres is... that he is not a great player: he is not a great player in Spain, and he would not be a great player in England, Italy or whatever country.
Joaquin is another player who is overrated. He has not had two decent matches in a row in the whole season. I used to like this player last year, but now he would not improve our team and we would have to pay an amount of money that he does not deserve.

Dosnt score enuff goals for me. A go forward but isnt consistent in front of goal. We need somone like David Villa or even Michael Owen back. Any word on whether he wants to re-sign?
